  • Just beat the top side that looked like they would batter us. Excellent result and will hopefully kick start us.

If we can beat a top of the table team like that with the quality they have can only be good for our confidence.

  • Phewwwwwwww !!!!! Great Great win ! but 8 conceded in the last 2 matches seems a bit too much !!! Can't wait for the comments from the lucky ones who were at the Valley tonite !!!!!!! Ciao from Italy !

Fantastic result. 5 goals at home against the league leaders and their multi-million pound squad. And I'm delighted to see that the boys held up an old Charlton tradition by trying to throw it away at the end. In all seriousness I'm disappointed with the end as we've lost that goal difference we built up and we can hardly rely on a three goal cushion to see games out, but there's no point in quibbling over what is a huge win for us.

Top marks nolly. Think we've found a new Valley Floyd Road

Wow, excellent, proud of them all
  • The good news is that's not our first choice back 4. Bad news is Palace have now gone top.

wow, who would have guessed it and with a B side team as well. I'm pretty sure (and relieved) that's put a spanner in the works for the Powell out brigade

    F*ck my old boots.

The one game I had to miss and that's what happens. Haha!

If you're all going Millwall, all going Millwall, all going Millwall, clap your hands!
  • From two nil down against the top side. Thats what I'm talkin about!
  • Didn't see that one coming..........
  • Cant think about anyone else we need to show fight like that we could've been arse spanked at 2 nil down but we grabbed a goal back and then we started to believe and feel something strong inside

    Great win however...............
    "we sent the Palace top"
  • ..and breath. That's what makes it such a great game eh?

Wait to hear what other at the game report but bit worrying that we are still conceding from set pieces and we seem to be getting punished for every error we make - got to cut them out.

On the plus side, the boys are clearly still pulling in one direction and we still have enough quality to score five against one of the divisions top sides. Well done CP and the boys!

Powell's body language throughout was a worry. Has something been said to him?
  • It's properly killing him clem he cares about us and what we think of him he is a proud man

Phew I have to admit I don't know where 6 minutes injury time came from but who cares 3 points and each of them run themselves into the ground for us and for Powell and that's why we won't go down this season!
  • Rules of every league we are in we must be the last to finish

    is haynes ok?

Could just be inexperience and not used to being in this rut after the win soaked season last year.

Probably was worried about tonight as on paper we looked nailed on to lose and would have been bad not picking up points tonight.

Hopefully tonight's come back and result will boost everyone.

Couldn't go tonight as it's Mrs Davo's birthday. Sounds like a fantastic game, with real guts and hearts from the lads to come back from 0-2 down. Great to get the three points; great to get some goals. Shame to let in the 2 at the end but we will be stronger there when we get our best 4 out there together.

Well done the team, well done the fans, and well done for all those on the match thread - just as entertaining as the game was!!

That was one hell of a game to update on.....but match thread tells the story....SOMETHING INSIDE SO STRONG was started when we were losing by @nolly I think.....then the thread picked it up...I drank more Red wine and off we went......sadly wont be doing the thread on Sunday...but keep the song going.....it seems to work......the team fought back from adversity...now that's a spirit that's given by CP.....never say die!! COYR's and goodnight............finally.
