That's right, Hamers fault for not being a foot taller. Jesus H.........
If he was a foot taller his head wouldn't get through a door. He could have read the game and positioned himself better , Christ. He gives enough stick out to everyone else never his fault.
BWP a liability you are having a laugh, he worked his nuts off yesterday
No, i'm not - he shirks every challenge, needs a hatful of chances to score one and couldn't trap a bag of cement half the time. There, i've said the unsayable. He just isn't a threat and hasn't been for a year. There's a reason why him and Jackson had slipped down to third tier football and this season you can see why i'm afraid.

the last time he was given service basically, worked his nuts off on scraps yesterday, the last 10 mins when he was given a chance against Leeds ? 2 chances in 10 minutes.
Our squad is weak because CP refuses to use some of our best youth squad ever and prefers to play guys out of position. The last two youth players introduced went to play Prem football after a handfull of games. Fox should start Tuesday.
Didn't you say you haven't seen Fox play? How do you know he's ready? We have some good prospects, but they aren't all going to be the next Shelvey or Jenkinson.
I don't care if he's ready. He's likely to be better at the job than a winger (on who the jury is still out) who may not understand the nuances of the role. When to tuck in, when to go wide. Stop crosses coming over. When to overlap. Kerkar is OK but not shown more than Harriott did 2 years ago.
So you want to play Fox who you have never seen and you don't care if he's ready ?
The midfield just don't seem ready for the Championship, unless there are 5 of them. The highly effective counter attacking play of last season has resulted in a team with a good defence capable of soaking up lots of pressure, but a weak midfield unable to move the ball around as effectively as most of the other teams in this league. Stephens would fit very comfortably into a different Championship side who are adept at keeping the ball and shifting it around the pitch. The injuries make things doubly hard for SCP, but ultimately he needs to get them all consistently retaining possession better - there were good patches of this at Wolves, where 5 played in the middle. The opposition (including teams like Posh and Barnsley) are just too good for us to keep losing the ball to, no matter how strong the back 4 are, who (uncharacteristically) wobbled yesterday. The fans need to stop worrying about passing backwards or sideways - it is part of the game, unless you want to play hoof ball. It's got to be 4-5-1 on Tues, with Dervite protecting the back 4/breaking up play. No idea who should play LB, but a kid from the academy would be cruel - imagine potentially coming up against Bellamy, Whittingham, Mason, Noone etc. in your league debut!!!
So it's money, refs, the board, luck, injuries, ifs and buts. If it weren't for all them we'd be pushing for the play-offs.
same as when Dowie held the reins all those years ago except after we drew with Watford we started to go under... This time we have Fuller back (next week?) & wiggins kermorgant Wilson etc. requirement is character ... from the board, the management, players... & this forum !?
You can chuck balls at bwp all day and he will lose the ball 9 times out of ten. He is without doubt the biggest weakness in the team and haynes should be playing and starting . He did more in two passes than bwp all game. This man has got to go. It is demotivating for the rest of the team to win the ball only to see it lost cheaply. The score is irrelevant; we lost but the performance up front was the reason and dont blame the back four . haynes and Hulse to start against Cardiff. Let the better players play and may we get kermorgant and wiggins back asap
Thought we were OK until Wilson went off - hope he's back soon though, he is a solid player. Boro midfield were good, passed the ball well and knew where there their next pass was going to. Second half, Stephens was awful, he didn't have a clue who to pass the ball to so just moved it sideways or back. Pritchard went from being really effective in centre midfield to not really very good on the wing. Team looked lost and scared, sorry Jacko but you're too slow for this division. SCP has to bring some continuity into the team. We can survive here - Roll on Tuesday -
I haven’t read all the posts on here but wanted to add my two pennies worth. Firstly I think it’s absolutely nuts for people to call for a change of manager Chris Powell has earned the right to try and get this season back on track and whatever anyone says we have been very unfortunate with injuries to key players it seems every match sees another player hobbling off and then sidelined for weeks. This has created an imbalance in the squad hence the need to play Kerkar at full back against Boro where I have to say he did look at times to be a bit lost but was effective coming forward even though some of the final passes were a bit off the mark to say the least.
The real problem is no quality in the midfield, and poor decisions on the substitutes used and this is where CP can and must improve. With regard to the quality issue I don’t think there is much we can do about this unless funds are made available in January and then we all know you have to pay through the nose for anyone decent as fees escalate but as it stands we have a midfield that consists mainly of journeymen who work hard but don’t generally don’t produce the killer pass on enough occasions although Pritchard’s pass to Hulse was excellent. But sorry to say Jackson is out of his depth in this league he is not able to find time on the ball and so gets caught in possession too much, Pritchard works hard but he is hardly creative, Dervite I thought in the first half did OK but is essentially a defender.
So with Wilson gone off who does CP bring on? Stephens not Green or even Haynes both players who are wide midfielders and moves Pritchard out wide where he looks lost. I am probably going to get flak here but I for the life of me cannot see why we didn’t offload Stephens when we were offered the £2M it could be that the system and players around him don’t allow his natural game to come to the fore but to me he just passes sideways and does nothing in possession, worse still he holds the ball too long so forwards runs are ineffective. BWP looked isolated, failed to link up with Hulse however I will not criticize him too much as he worked his socks off for little reward and let’s be honest the game was already lost when Haynes finally came on so to expect him to make any impact was blindly optimistic.
So CP needs to improve in his tactics and substitutions but here is something that I have noticed and that is his body language. When Phil Parkinson was manager the comment heard around where I sit was how he stood on the touchline, hands in pocket with no apparent animation and I see a little of that in CP. He often sits down on the hoardings, rarely gets really agitated unless he’s arguing with the fourth official so if I see it I am sure the players must see it as well. He needs to get more involved, not look like the world is ending when the opposition scores and generally gee the payers up more. This is an improvement point for him that needs to be worked on at the moment his body language is too negative.
Lastly the eventual return of Wiggins, Fuller, Yann and now Wilson will strengthen the team I feel but will that be enough? Possibly but if we are bottom three and points adrift that will be a big challenge so I see a real struggle to survive unless things change quickly.
When I watched Gillingham give us a footballing lesson pre season, I had a feeling that things were going to be difficult. I hate to see us play one up front at home because I am naturally very cavalier, but I now have to accept that our only hope is to play defensively and look to break. When we came forward at them towards the end they just packed their box and gave us no room to find space. I lost count of the times that Bailey cleared their box. I have to say that for me our coaching and tactical thinking does not reach Championship standard, and I now approach the rest of the season with trepidation.
We are a poor team at the moment, apart from solly and maybe morrison not one of our players would start in any other championship side.
We despartely need some pace in the side but powell seems to have something against pace. Wagstaff should be starting wide right with what we have in this squad. Jackson should never ever play left midfield he is so slow.
We need to practice attacking football on training ground. We are too slow passing the ball, we always look sideways or backwards to pass the ball while other teams pass forwards. The worst play is when we get the ball in the box we look to pass it back out so often it makes no sense.
BWP looks out of sort/out of his depth, I said this weeks ago one goal is not good enough.
Everyone seems to be saying wait for Kermo to get back but I don't think he was that effective before he got injured. My front two would be fuller and haynes - movement and pace.
The defence is normally pretty solid so I put this game down to a 1 off as you rarely see the likes of morro and cort making sunday league errors.
I dont think the score line reflects the game. I thought it was pretty even for the majority but silly errors and clinical finishing was the difference.
People get on BWP back alot but from what I see he runs his backside off every game and the service he has received has been pretty woeful. He seems to be feeding off scraps this season.
I dont know what the answer is but getting rid of CP is certainly not an option imo.

So how did our goal come about? Oh yeah BWP chased the defender down and nicked the ball.....
