    bloody worried
  • I think we should just scrap this post and move on to the Cardiff game. Way too depressing to dwell on.

Defeated by our own ineptitude, that of one of our best players and that of a manager who in the second half lost his way

shocking i fear for scp hope he can sort this mess out?
  • Players in in Jan plus injury returns could see us right. Otherwise a slow slip back to uncovered terraces for us...

Second half we were a mess of the managers making It was genuinelly painful to watch. No one seemed to have a clue what formation we were playing.

My fear is this board will panic and fire SCP.....
  • Unfortunately we just don't have the players or the class to take on teams like Boro at the moment. Disappointing but totally expected result. We need to take a deep breathe & get ready to go again on Tuesday. We'll probably lose again but so what? There's still a long way to go this season.

Bad team to start with , the players made a lot of bad decisions and then Powells trademark late substitutes to bring on a striker ; can't see us scoring at all... Don't know what danny Hollands has done not to get into the team especially when Pritchard and Stephens are so lightweight - very worrying

What goes on at home? Should've kept the same tactics as away I think.

Far too much chopping and changing at the moment. We're Boro three clear goals better than us? In the score line, of course, but we done ok. Still not creating those clear cut chances though.

Thought Kerkar equipped himself well enough, Hulse took his goal incredibly well and Dervite looked fine in CM. Jacko and Pritchard are too slow for this league as well.

Couple of horror shows for the goals, Powell needs to keep heads up or this could get even nastier.

Powell won't/shouldn't be immediately under pressure but wins will need to start appearing or trigger fingers will start itching.
  • For Cardiff I hope SCP reverts back to the same formation which has served us well away from home. I don't give a toss if its negative tactics. I'm sick seeing us get beat at the Valley!

"Thought Kerkar equipped himself well enough"

My old man said Kerkar was wank.

woeful, and that is just chris powells decisions.
  • Complete disaster, in the second half there was no leadership on the pitch and more worrying even less from the side line.

If you defend like that you will lose matches. Whoever the manager is, and whatever formation he plays. Especially if you have no cutting edge.

I'm not your old man as far as I'm aware.

Not his natural position, did ok and was probably our biggest attacking threat in terms if creation (not saying much).

different ball game at our club now mate. I fear a hefty loss against Cardiff and he will be on a very short slippery slope.

Pritchard was our quickest player in starting line up. Don't let disappointment cloud your judgement.
  • Absolutely clueless...
  • Should've got a left back in and gone the same way as last 2 games

    My big balls say worry

BWP, Solly and Wilson are all quicker than BP in my eyes.
  • Outclassed by nothing more than a workmanlike team. Nowhere near enough quality and need a Miracle to avoid a relegation battle.
  • Perhaps Wilson, certainly not Solly who is pedestrian. BWP would score more if he wad quick.

at the end of the day we have no creative mudfielder at the club and hollands stepens jacko pritchard etc are not good enough. Gonna be a long old season.

Haynes is probably our quickest player

Was shite but it's the 6 games after Tuesday which will really shape our season. Gotta win at least half of those, hopefully a couple of players will be back before then.
  • I thought Pritchard was too lightweight, Dale Stepens abysmal (only passes the ball sideways and took for ever to make his mind up on what to do) and Jacko too slow and past it yet again.

Kerkar was my man of the match for us (not that that's saying much) and the biggest issue today was that our defence made a few blunders. Normally they don't and we lose by the odd goal, today that wasn't the case.

No idea what Powell was doing tactically in the second half, and seriously don't understand why we play two up front just because we're at home - as mentioned above, surely it's better to be percieved as negative and grind a few wins out than play two just for the sake of it.

Hope TJ doesn't get an itchy trigger finger. Very worried and miserable about it all.
