The two comments on that article surprised me a bit - they really do love him. I personally dont have good vibes about the guy, but it's a shame Scunny couldn't afford to offer him a perm deal as it seems like he has a good home there, with fans who appreciate him.
I wonder why we're apparently showing so many 'indicators' of wanting him back early.. It's certainly not for our benefit (anymore). A few weeks ago it was an understandable (if not a good) idea; but our strike force looks pretty good now..
Like the article says it is in our benefit if we have another club willing to pay more of his wages for a loan deal now and potentially take him on a perm deal in jan.
Fair play to him - his tally with a struggling club is impressive. Nathan Ellington to replace - that's sad that the lad couldn't have done better for himself.

Be interesting to know how well Scunny play generally. I remember last year at the Valley they could knock it about and create chances, but were dodgy defensively.
He is coming back to Charlton, probably just to be sold.On Sky.
Leon Clarke has thanked the Scunthorpe fans for their support following the end of his successful loan spell at Glanford Park.
Striker Clarke has returned to Charlton after the end of his three-month loan spell at Scunthorpe.
Clarke scored 11 goals in 15 appearances for the Iron and he admits he fully enjoyed his stay at the League One outfit.
"I really enjoyed my time at Scunthorpe and I just wish I could have left them in a better league position," Clarke told skysports.com.
"I just want to say thank-you to all the supporters at Scunthorpe and all the staff for making me so welcome during my stay."
Clarke faces an uncertain future following his return to Charlton as he is well down the pecking order at the Valley and the 27-year-old hopes he can resolve his long-term future soon.
"I am going back to Charlton and I really don't know what's going to happen, but I hope something can get sorted soon," added Clarke.
Definite relegation for Scunny now their one goalscorer has gone .. @ CAFC, Clarke at present is surplus .. Fuller, Kermorgant, Hulse, Haynes, then Clarke. However, when Hulse goes home, provided he does not sign on perm in January, Clarke might well be in the reckoning given Fuller and Haynes' injury records
