A fairly even first half, which given we were away and Blackpool were top of the table must be seen as a positive. Both sides had chances and Fuller was unlucky not to score. In the second half, we edged things. Once Charlton went ahead from Cort's good downward header, I was confident that we would win. A fantastic shot from Solly into the top corner of the opposite side of the goal sealed the victory.
The defensive five were strong. Praise due to Wilson for becoming part of good defensive unit and looking like he deserved it. Solly capped a good performance with a goal and celebration in front of the travelling fans with what appeared to be the entire team.
Fuller played well and was ably supported by Kerkar and Razak. How good Razak is remains to be seen, but on the basis of this performance he is certainly good enough for the championship already. Razak will improve and is a good link for a central midfield three with a lone striker.
Pritchard played well but is not a natural winger and would be better suited in the centre. Stephens makes the odd wayward pass, perhaps due to concentration, however I suspect with time and patience this will resolve. However Stephens was involved in many of the good moments, making passes & tackles, as well as having the gift of being able retain possession, find space and being calm enough to wait until he can make things happen. Hollands came into the game more as time went on, but would appear the most vulnerable to any changes CP might make.
Mentioned in pre match the couple I went up with had only been to B'Mouth, Oldham and Ipswich but chuffed their 100% record remains in tact! Next stop for them Bristol - get your money on. Still in Blackpool and about to leave for home.
Back 4 immense - Hamer a bit shaky for me first half - Wilson outstanding. When Wiggins is back Wilson must play right midfield we need his energy. Razak some promising moments and am sure as games go his first touch will improve. Must keep the 451 so bye bye BWP. Buzzing for Solly and his goal was a must see moment. Blackpool were very very poor - one year too far for Kevin Phillips
Hopefully we have found the formula but Barnsley will be harder than we think. COYR!
Great result, the reports say we played well. Glad that Powell made changes and got his tactics correct. I called for 4-5-1 and Razak in on the team prediction thread. Powell must have read it! ;o)
Pleased for Wilson and nice to see Cort get one and Ric sounds immense, great bit of business.
Solly - what a screamer, if it had been Rooney the Red Tops would have been creaming themselves until the next game.

Mate was texting me updates ...1-0 Cort header , 2-0 Solly strike , final whistle and 3 fantastic points !
Such a pity we now have a blank weekend - seem to remember that we usually win before an international break & then our momentum is affected .
Not that this will happen THIS time ...
Can't wait for the Barnsley game !!!!
Onwards & upwards !
