Solly's goal and celebration was just like Wiggins goal away at Rochdale/Bury, can't remember which. Today's game reminded me of the days of Curbs when after a poor run he would go back to basics with a good defensive display, nick a goal and. restore confidence. Of course CP would have been in that team.
Enjoyed Solly's goal celebration - he ran the length of our enclosure waving like mad, we sang his song -brilliant
At the end Hamer lead the players over to us, he is becoming quite a character and he just had a presence about him today that said he was going for a clean sheet. after the players CP came over, hugged all the players and gave Solly a battering, on the way back to the stand we had about 5 hurrahs to his waves
All the boys were absolutely excellent today. Stifled a very creative attacking side in Blackpool.
The back 5 were immense and restricted Blackpool to very few out and out chances. Morro and Corty are a great combo and Lawrie Wilson was excellent as he was at Ipswich last month.
The middle three worked tirelessly and although occasionally sloppy in possession they protected the back four brilliantly and negated the through ball threat that so many teams have struggled with against Blackpool.
Big shout to Salim Kerkar who was brilliant on the left. Creates space for himself where there is often very little and not afraid to run at defenders which Jacko struggled with in the early part of the season.
Last but not least Ricardo Fuller - a man mountain up front. When we signed him I was sceptical as to whether he would be fully committed, but he worked his socks off and the way he brings midfielders and wingers into play shows off his true class.
To Sir Chris - Wilson over Evina was again fully vindicated and Pritchard over Wagstaff was a good choice giving us extra solidity across the midfield five. He did what he had to do by dropping BWP, but a fantastic team performance!
You made me very happy today CAFC. Excellent stuff all round.

Now that is what it is all about.
Stopping the rot he used to call it and it served us very well. It won't please some but the pragmatic approach will serve us best this season.
Great to hear the game was so enjoyable for the fans and the players were quick to acknowledge the support. If you support a team that won't win trophies, then a good away win is one of the biggest joys of being a football supporter. I miss it so bad!
I think we're in for another good season. I think CP has been a little restricted by being loyal to players from last season - i'm thinking BWP and Jackson in particular, but i think we will click soon (maybe we did today) and start charging up that table. There is talent in this side and with the solid defence, its just a case of getting the talent arranged correctly going forwards. Wagstaff and Haynes haven't featured yet and thats a big chunk of our attacking pace. Looking forward to the next few months and i think todays result is the break that we will build a good run on.
These last few games have been strange. Not getting what we deserved in the last two but a clean sheet away and a win at Blackpool is priceless. Hope all the lads up there have a good night celebrating!
Well done to CP for sticking with Wilson, happily sounds like he has really silenced his detractors - judging by the consistently decent marks he gets in the player ratings threads. I suspect he'll be out once Wiggins is fit - but looks like we have a very good deputy for Solly....
great result today, it certainly helps getting over the disappointment of the watford defeat on tuesday and shows that when they get it right, they can hold their own in this division.
What a result don't do many away games but that was brilliant in the second half and some passing as well I think that rasak is going to be one top player
Wow. Didn't see this coming. To get a result (following Tuesday's disappointment) against a team who are flying and to also get a clean sheet when they average over 3 goals so far in home games this season is fantastic.
Well done to CP (his tactics were crucial today) and the team.
Great result and sounded like a good team and management performance which hopefully they can build on. Another little step towards the goal of avoiding relegation.
What a great day. Was great to travel over with other Addicks that we went to Carlisle with and a nice quiet drink before the game, lol (see clip). Great game. Great goals. Great supporters. Great weather. Great manager. Just great!! http://youtu.be/E75lxMkUbFY
