my 5 year old boy is taking a massive interest in football & Charlton, knows all the players names off by heart - he is bouncing around at the moment happy as anything cos of this result - a nice start to the day
wasn't there so can't really comment. Although I don't like 4-5-1 it looks like it might work for us. Still question why Pritchard came on for Green when waggy was on the bench and I'd have brought on BWP for Fuller and not Hulse
Still - CP is the boss and if we can get a win at home v Barnsley and a point or 2 at the away games v Wolves & Leeds then we might be able to sit in mid-table and not have to think about the dreaded R
Woke up this morning thinking we'd win this. Great result, actually think we'll win more away game this season than home games. At home we are expected to attack which doesn't suit us as well. League is so close and anyone can beat anyone
Great win. Congratulations to the management and players for digging out such an important win after a difficult 7 days. If we can build on this result at home to Barnsley in a fortnight, then we'll be well on our way to establishing ourselves in the middle third of the table with important players still to come back from injury.
What I can glean from afar, and it was certainly evident against Blackburn at home, is the team ethic. They really seem to be a good bonded unit, unaffected it appears when new guys arrive, and this has got to be down to good work from the management staff. I came away from the Blackburn game thinking 'they were all at least a 7, and picking the best of a good bunch is hard today'. I felt it was the same against Ipswich, and against Leicester. Having not been at Bloomfield Road today all I can say is that their commentators continually praised us as an overall team, and then kept selecting players...Wilson, Morrison, Stephens as having a 'fine game'. I judged by the mentions that Leon Cort also played well, and I would imagine that with regard to Fuller and Solly, praise goes without saying. I also reckon that Pritchard, pitched in unexpectedly, gave a good account of himself. The only players I'm unsure of were Razak, Hollands, and Kerkar, and I look forward to hearing from fans who were there about those three. What is, however, crystal clear is that Chris Powell did an excellent job after Tuesday's disappointment. I love the bloke.
Fuller sounded immense today. What a result. Listening on player, blackpool didn't sound like they were going to score. We sounded very well organized.
Went mental when solly popped that 1 in. Can't wait to see it tonight. Reckon it's going to get a bit Lionel at the seaside tonight.
Well done lads. Muchos estralla's for me here in sunny Menorca this evening. Might even buy the old trout a snowball after all she did carry the suitcases.

Yes, but make sure you make her go to the bar to get them.
Get in, from a drizzly grey day guiding Americans around Verdun this is a perfect livener, didnt see it coming at all, thought we have a played ok in recent weeks but no luck, can enjoy the international break now. The Palace result, though still sticking in the throat is in some perspective now, they are on fire!

Maybe we play better against the better teams. I hope so.
