Raheem Sterling from liverpool on loan young seventeen year old.Is this the right way sign a youngest from a premiership club.Or Beavon from a lower devision club or a championship striker who has experience.
The great thing is we are already well equipped for strikers. I think Sir Chris can attract good players. I think good enough to bring a good goal scorer at the same level with no obvious reason to leave their current club. To strenghen I dont believe in getting out of favour PL players on loan, never works (recent years).
Husselklepp or whatever his name is? Scored lots for Portsmouth but they have to let him go because his wages were killing them. Hope he sees an attraction for the club without us having to pay him loads if he is interested.
Adebayor? .. and you think Austin would be pricey Neil? .. We are going to have to spend a few quid in the close season as, I fear that our present strikers will simply not be good enough for the higher grade. There is no point spending 250k on an old hack .. either buy a good but pricey striker or stick with what we have and wait and see how Smith develops. Having said that, who dreamed of Kermorgant? .. I am sure that Powell and his staff have a few rough and/or polished diamonds in mind
Wouldn't mind trying someone else out partnering with Yann. I know it is illegal to say anything negative about BWP because "he scores lots of goals" but I also look at it as "he misses a ridiculous amount of sitters" and "he loves being offside." Not wanting this to turn into everyone getting mad because I don't rate BWP, but it would be nice to see Yann play with someone else. Having said that I think Haynes is worth a run out with Yann now and then.
I want Jordan Rhodes... Partnered with Kermit this season he would have had 40+ goals. Agree with the above about Wright-Phillips... He's done a decent enough job, but missed way too many sitters. No time for sentiment, the prem awaits!
