i received an email from Steve Speroni this morning saying it had nothing to do with him and to email Steve Jones directly, so iv just emailed him now.0

Can't tell you how sad this is making me (and I suspect others), you so want to believe it's just a cock up with logistics and planning etc........I very much hope that's all it is.

I have had my paypal dosh refunded, so i don't think they have any more of the items left. It would be much simpler if they communicated with those out of pocket though.
For Steve Speroni to declare "it has nothing to do with him" when he has been in the thick of it with the website/paypal/posting on here etc is poor show.
As I said before, why taint your legendary status by scamming a few quid from ordinary fans? ............V sad.0 -

Not confusing at all. People have ordered/paid for stuff and it hasn't arrived as yet. All efforts to contact the people with the cash have so far proven fruitless.

Sadly, that's where the responsibility rests. My understanding is that Jones organised on Mendonca's behalf - so it was basically their names that prompted people to attend/place orders/part with cash, etc.
If it's not their fault(s) directly - and I sincerely hope it isn't - then at the very least there needs to be some sort of explanation. Sad, very sad.0 -
Update email received this morning from Steve Speroni:
"I have issued a refund today as no other photos are available to send out. Apologies for mix up."
Took 3 chasers to get this email and a refund ... although definitely would have preferred the picture as it also means Clive missed out as I am sure I am not the only one receiving a refund.0 -

No that's not the case, the people who bought stuff direct at the auction haven't got their canvas prints. My brother bought a signed and personalised canvas that wasn't yet framed, and so far there has been no sign of it, no response from Steve Jones, and Steve Speroni says it's nothing to do with him, it's Steve Jones! I've even emailed Steve Jones and had no response..... it was £100 down the drain basically. 2 months and waiting.....0

If you haven't already, I'd e-mail them one more time, threatening to report them to the police for fraud, unless you receive a satisfactory response within 48 hours.0
