Agreed. Would have been interesting if someone had had a quiet word after the meeting to see what they think. Not during it.

Has this been brought to the clubs attention? I know it has nothing to do with them but they may be able to help put pressure on.0

@roseandcrown The problem is that it is nothing to do with the club I'm sure that certain people are keeping a watching eye on this.
As Barts said earlier, people have been in contact with Steve Jones, good people who have the clubs interest at heart. If they can't get through there is little more they can do.
I suspect that the time has come for people to pull together and start legal action against certain parties.
The whole thing leaves a very bad taste, I didn't say so at the time as I pretty much keep my counsel on certain subjects discussed on here but I had fears about this event and what was being promised, thats speaking from my own viewpoint, I can't say how others feel but I guess they also had reservations.0 -

Problem is by the time you pony up for lawyers etc. then you end up shelling out more dough than you've already spent, with no guarantee you'll get anything at the end of it anyway.

Also, to be honest, it would be a bit unfair to involve Brighty, Illic and Yous in this, I doubt that they are exactly bosom buddies with Steve Jones these days.

The thing is, the canvas I "paid for" is personalized to sideburn Sid, I doubt there's anyone else with this nickname so they would be unable to sell it to anyone else, so the whole thing doesn't make sense.0

That is a very old pic of the 'then' watchdog presenters. in fact none of them work for the programme anymore.
