  • Apparently there is a new rule in league one football this season.
If your ground holds less than 15,000 you may foul and time waste to your heart's content.
Can not wait to get to the Championship and play proper clubs again.
  • I suppose the run had to end sometime, we will just have to go on another 13 match unbeaten run!
  • I just hope this isn't the start of a steep slide !!
  • Just hope the disagreements between team-mates are sorted.

How the team reacts to this is important.

Great news is, we're still top of the league.
  • Bring back Hayes and Wagstaff & Solly.

    Still top at least.

  • Very true Saga
  • Sounds like they done a job on us - we struggle against sides that set out to frustrate us physically but we need get some perspective it's our first defeat in 13 games - there will few tougher teams in terms of nullifying our threat this season 2 wins from the next 2 will put us firmly on track no need for scare mongering

Hoping Sheffield United would do us a favour by winning tomorrow. Their opponents are a bit of a worry.

  • Very frustrating.

Seems like we couldn't break them down, Most of our play sounded like it was coming from Wiggins and Jackson, Didn't hear Waggy mentioned on the commentary.

Would play Hayes next game instead of Kermit and bring back Solly for Cort and possibly Waggy for Green.

They sounded very dirty and were cheating from the first few minutes which the Referee ignored.

One other criticism, Why does Powell leave his subs so late all the time ?

Probably quite glad I only made it to Kings X now.

  • Hopefully sheffield utd will beat wed tomorrow and we stay top.
  • Teams we've struggled against this year: Tranmere, Sheff Weds and Stevenage - all anti football teams.
  • And after their tactics today, I hope they drop back into Non League.

  • This one was always going to be a potential banana skin. Now it's time for the players to show some resilience and bounce back stronger.
  • Change the team and we get one one point against Tranmere and poxy Stevenage with one contentious penalty goal to show for it. Green has added nothing and so has Kermit since they started. That great 7-point week has been completely cancelled out by this run.

    Bring back the winning team!

  • What was the disagreement between team-mates?
  • Hey! Where did my comment go?
  • Will probably become the norm, people just trying to kick us of the pitch.
    Our lot cant handle it.

Sounds like a rubbish referee, again.

BWP and Kermogant don't seem to have hit it off yet.

Maybe the replacement players in training are doing well or the ones
replaced have a knock and that is something we don't see. It is a bit
mystifying why Kermogant replaces Hayes and Green for Wagstaff when a settled
team had been winning prior to Tranmere with Green and
Kermogant coming on and doing well as impact subs.

Why change a winning set up ?

We had chances to least get a point, though with x2 good chances from BWP and Cort.

Charlton and the management team have to learn to deal with anti
football teams such as Stevenage if we are going to get out of this division.

  • Seems like a lot of retrospective clamouring for Hayes and Wagstaff to be put back in the starting line up.

They were getting slagged off a couple of weeks ago, not just on here by the way.
  • Completely agree with Valley, Hayes gives us so much more with his link play, Waggy can be very frustrating but he gives us balance and pace on the right hand side and also allows Solly to overlap. What worries me at the moment is the lack of creativity from the centre of midfield with both Hollands and Stephens looking very innefective.

All in all nothing to panic about one defeat in thirteen is something all of us would have taken at the start but to lose two a team of timewasters and cheats does hurt, but will just have to live with it and try to get back on course next weekend.

  • What was the disagreement between team-mates?
From the match thread: jacko and evina arguing....taylor trying to sort it......addicks win a throw
  • Can't believe Solly was dropped just because they had a bigger left winger???? If so I think Powell should stop tinkering with the team and have a bit more faith instead of trying to second guess the opposition. And get Hayes and Waggy back in. Solly and Waggy are a superb partnership down the wing. Other than that it sounded like we didn't create much in front of goal and this needs to sorted out. Still top and the comments on the match thread to say we are sh**e is just a little bit reactionary. We are still top and Powelly we sort them ot for the next game.
  • Why did SCP leave it till 3 mins from the end to put hayes on. he should have done it on 70

  • I'm not going to get too down about one loss in thirteen. Starting to look like Hudds are going to be the team to watch from now on. We'll bounce back strong I think.
  • Chris Powell is showing how amateur he is. Why change the side that beat Sheffield? Anyone have a clue? Poor management and subs are always far too late.
  • I agree with the points VFF makes.
  • what a difference since the colchester match where bwp could have scored 6
  • Just for the record WSS, I wasn't one of those slagging off Wagstaff, Hayes and/or Solly
