How many will we sell for Chesterfield?

edited September 2011 in General Charlton
Less than 2 weeks away now, I'm going to be negative and say we won't beat the attendance we had vs Exeter.

  • Agree, it will be lower, 21,563.

  • Well, let`s all do what we did for Exeter last season and push it up as high as possible. Once the momentum gets going like that time the tickets will be flying out.

    I am bringing 5 more non-regulars so that`s a start!

What would be the most we could get crowd wise I wonder what with having to split the South Stand ?

We lose about 300 to the seg line, plus there are various seats we can't put on general sale like wheelchair spaces, media, boxes, some others allocated to hospitality and directors' box. Plus Chesterfield probably won't sell out. We'd do well to get much beyond 26,000.

Best day so far today, comparable with the equivalent day last time.

  • 27,111 why not? we are second and have a chance to go top and are playing great footy

Ticket office on Saturday said sales had been "slow" but they expected it to pick up after the Exeter game

  • The crowds so far have been generally disappointing. Have a feeling this wont take off like last time, personally think it will be around 20,000.
  • just over 20k

I just hope People who came last time aren't put off coming this time by the tripe they saw last time.
  • I dont know why but there just hasn't been the same level of hype surrounding the offer this time round, from what i can see. Hopefully i'm wrong and there is a big turnout.

Hopefully this time some of the spectators will be a bit more educated aswell. As i was leaving against exeter i overheard two girls talking of their shock at the fact that there where two goals on the pitch.
  • gutted i'm missing it

Agree that the hype doesn't seem to be there this time. I think that is because we create it, getting friends family and work mates along. I think all of is on here should be aiming to get at least 5 extra in. I have recruited 4 so far and am working on another 6. Come on guys ramp it up
  • Should have 6 extra going
