What a surprise, might be better if you kept your filthy and despicable views on race off of here then, eh?

You don't know my views so fuck off.
    Filthy and despicable,

    Mong

Hilarious and, to be honest, this is just what I was expecting as a retort.

Tell you what tough guy, why don't you have a little read of the link below....

    http://forum.charltonlife.com/discussion/42618/please-read-the-london-riots-thread#Item_1

....and then try and show just the tiniest bit of respect to the people who provide this platform courtesy of hours of hard work.

  • Whatever I will not comment anymore.

It is an observation. I'm tired and sorry if it caused offence.

Filthy and despicable. Yep somes it up,

  • Well, I finally got to sleep around 4, when the police helicopter finally left. The house stinks of smoke, loads of sirens still coming into town, and places still on fire.

The worst thing about this, probably 200 odd people in one of London's most deprived areas have lost there jobs this morning thanks to what happened, staff at the Wilkinson (still burning), Wehterspoons, T-Mobile etc etc.

    Whereabouts are you, Rothko?
  • What sort of country have we become? Are we the worst of the '1st world' countries?

We must have some of the poorest parenting and this is the proof.
  • In Woolwich Orm
  • Don't know what happened in Crawley, but I suspect it was the OB not taking any chances as I've heard there were a few kids hanging around by the old High Street, but nothing too sinister fortunately.

I think the govt is just going to ride this one out, they will attempt to re-build their political reputation over the next few weeks when they invite cameras and journalists along to what will be many, many dawn raids across the capital.  After that retribution will be meeted out in the courts, but as it stands right now they're just going to have to take the flak.  If it does go off again tonight though, there does need to be a much better response and giving carte blanche to the OB to start cracking a few heads rather than trying to contain it all would be a start.

I'm sure the helicopter kept going between Crawley and two other places as it hovered here for tweny mins went off north and returned from the south

I am so bloody angry and upset for the innocent people that I really feel like just hanging around the streets tonight waiting for the scum to come out and sorting it out good and proper

Just got to work in greenwich. At. 7am wilkinsons was still smoking. The harry was totally gutted. Lots of damage to the shops in woolwich. Woolwich arsenal was closed and cordened off. On the bus to work I've seen damage to pc world and currys across from the valley and security guards out the front. Even the co-op in greenwich has its front windows caved in

    Pretty much spot on, methinks.

They are going to have to go absolutely flat out on catching and prosecuting as many of these people as they can.

Interesting thing on the radio here, they had someone on saying that they were leaning towards thinking that there may have been several anarchist groups involved in planning and executing the disorder, simply because they were always one step ahead of the police.

Take a look at the photos I posted earlier...

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2023874/LONDON-RIOTS-David-Cameron-returns-home-police-face-gangs-petrol-bombs.html

Some of that mob certainly bear a resemblance to the rent-a-mob that try to create chaos at every major protest in London, including the student demos earlier this year.

I think that there are two scary things here...

1] The way in which hundreds (maybe thousands) of people took advantage of the breakdown in law and order.

2] The way in which the Police seemed to be completely powerless to do anything about it.

  • I never thought I would see the day when I would have to tell the missus not to take the kids into town because of something like this.

Time for the OB and the good British people to fight back and Red Ken to crawl back under that rock.

For the first time I have realised why some people vote BNP.

  • In relation to racism, explicit or implied

    ...your words don't translate
    And its getting quite late
So please don't stay in touch...

Yes saw her interviewed on Beeb breakfast......she kept repeating we will solve this with "robust policing" and asking families to turn in anyone in their family that was involved she was asked directly if the Army could be called in to assist she said "no....we police by consent"......she's not got a clue!!

I feel sorry for the Police they were in a no-win situation and completely outnumbered, families aren't going to hand over their kith and kin either.

Its time for the government to show they are in charge.....sadly I don't think they will or indeed can!

I suppose it will be back tonight....trouble is all the time we stand-off,  then the scum know they are 'free to do what they want'.

    Sad times indeed.
  • Will this continue through tonight? There's to many area's for the police to cover it seems and their getting out run!

Show's how good the British force is!
  • TO be fair to the po lice tho Willmore, the old bill just aint geared up for this scale of wide spread disorder!! Its only going to go on and on when these scum bags realise thats its almost too big to police! Only one thing can sort this out apart from a big dump of rain, and thats the army!!

This is turning into a full scale country wide riot!

You would get out run if you couldn't fight back.
  • Given that this is the school holidays and that a proportion of the rioters and looters were young enough to still be at school, had this been a normal school week, they wouldn't have been outside.  I hope out of all this the govt realises what generations of handing down laws and rules undermining the authority of teachers and schools has done to raise a generation of kids where there is a minority who don't give a f**k about anyone or anything.  My mate's father in law is a supply teacher at the worst types of secondary schools across the capital and has been attacked several times, he has genuinely feared for his life and he's been a teacher for 30+ years and reckons it's getting worse and worse in some areas.

There may have been elements of the rent-a-mob about, who turn up to any sort of protest they can, but a proportion of the rioters are these kids, who aren't just 'disaffected' as the politicians like to say, but genuinely fearless of any sort of authority and believe they are above the law.  F**k giving these scum opportunities to get a job etc, start nicking them and giving them real hard sentences - and start nicking the useless parents too.

Exactly as was clearly shown in Hackney last night. Even when they got within hitting distance, they had to show restraint, when what the public needed to see was some of these scumbags being taken care of.
  • Diane Abbott just surprised me....saying a curfew should be considered and did not say no when asked about using the Army, just said we need to stop this looting..... didn't ever think I would hear her say that to be honest.
  • I hope everyone's alright. I hope some people look at the photos as it appears some have made judgements before seeing any of the footage.

Unreal, a night i'll never forget.

    Bang on.

Have heard/seen a number of radio/TV interviews with the Home Secretary and she is saying the same thing every time-"they will be brought to justice, the communities must liaise with the Police" etc.

We know full well that most of the scum will get away with it. She is just spouting "words". Criminally out of her depth although probably never expected to face such a sceario.

Direct action needed now. The Army would enjoy sorting these losers out.

  • Total frustration---anger---sadness.
It might not be about race but last night alone ---Jasper (red Kens advisor) giving it loads about "black men dying in police cells etc" Padrig Obrian BBC Jurno " mainly young blk men". Then my mate from the far right saw" white trash looting a sports shop" or my mate from the"left" said Somali gangs going mental in Woolwich. Under class may be a better why of describing whatis going on.

The Mets tactics designed after the PC left tied them in knots has left the real people of London defenceless. Did anyone watching the hours of TV actually see a copper belt some with a batton ? I saw about 20 normal coppers no sheilds with a few dogs walk up a street (on TV) they had the battons drawn, but as soon at the scum rioters saw them they pelted em with bricks and the OBill had to with draw. Dam brave to even have a go with no shields.

The World saw the Met Police loose last night. THe wannabe Gangsta trash saw their tactics piss all over the Obill. I feel sorry for the common copper but what the hell is the Met there for if it just stands on street cornors while large parts of OUR city are burned and looted?

In two or three weeks time--- the wooly left PC twonks will be giving it large about the dispossed (not the tax payers burnt out) and how we (the tax payers) should shell out more wedge to help the scum that are doing this---------i have as much hate for these as the people doing the burning.

How sad was it listening to the brothers whose business went up in flames in Croydon----140 years it has been there. Or the poor lady who found a scum bag in her flat., or the resident in Ealing who had watched them run riot in her road for an hour with no Obill about who finaly left her falt to go stay with a mate---hoping that it wouldnt be torched.

    Sad.

    .
  • I don't know what we can do to end these riots and the looting oh and the vandalism. There are too many corrupt people whether civillians pushing others to rise up against "The Man" or people in positions of great power using it in the wrong way.

I didn't exactly saw I could do a better job did I? Obviously their doing what they've been trained to do but their's not enough of them?

So your comment was pretty needless and stupid, If I ever say I could do a better job than anyone feel free to comment like that.
