Omozusi had a poor start to playing with us last season, having not played competitively for am while and gradually improved to an extent that we were disappointed he went to Orient, so lets hope bessone develops into the role as his fitness improves, although that won't be helped by hamstring problems every time he plays.
He's quite possibly picked up the hamstring injury because he was thrown in to the 1st team straightaway, without match fitness. It's a common injury picked up by players who are match rusty.
Now that he's first tweaked his hamstring, and then played on it again against Peterboro, may indicate that he's aggravated the injury.......and could be out for 3 or 4 weeks., the normal recovery period.
I do not think we can send him back because it was seen as a 'permanent' loan rather then an emergency , Leeds may want to look after his injury problem though but we would need to pay his wages .
It was my view during the window that we wanted someone at Left back and if Bessone is out for a month or so then we certainly still need cover there.
Last season the delay between Jackson's injury and Borrowdale's signing went a long way to the humiliating 4-0 defeat at the New Den .
With Fry looking like he's gone back to West Ham I'm hoping Bessone is now fit.
One of Powell's first signings and a player who was part of a successful passing side (Swansea). In the few minutes he's played so far always looked for a pass on the ground.
If we are to re-model the team and get them playing a different type of football he could well be the first piece in the jig-saw
Yes agree 100% and 4-3-3 feels like the way to go with this squad but you need a proper left back who can get forwards. Afraid the right back should be Francis too - at the moment anyway.
My mate (saints fan) thought he was outstanding, the best left back he has seen against Chamberlain. His pace is vital at the back, especially with our centre backs!
Have to say he was very very good the other night. Oxlade Chamberlain is very highly rated and he did pull the strings at times - but he had to come inside as he was getting no job from Bessone. He eventually got told to play wider by Atkins I think and shortly thereafter got dumped (fairly) into the advertising hoardings and went off.
Fair play to Bessone for the whole performance. Something about him I really like

Excellent. I think he is a very good defender and gives us good balance on the left. His pace is very good also, which helps when covering the centre backs.
I hope that we get him on a perminant basis at the end of the season.
I'm not sure, he got away with a handball and nearly brought down one of their men for a penalty, both decisions on another day I thought could have been given so was a bit fortunate.
2nd half he was alot better. At least we have another 10 games to see what he is really like
My comment back in early February still holds true ... Tried to play to feet all the time rather than hoofing the ball anywhere ... I get the impression he will become a very important part of our team.
I like Fry and the first time I saw bessone he went off and was replaced by Fry and to be hionest I could not see a lot of difference, now however I can see he adds experience, nous and solidity

this must be a concern for our gaffa who held down the LB spot like a champ!

Just hope the curse of the left back doesn't cripple him
Also showed he's not adverse to a clever bit of fouling/obstruction when needed : - )
So far so good. One to keep for next season on what I've seen so far. Doesn't seem to have a future with Leeds.
I wonder how having two Spanish speaking defenders playing on the left helps
it does when they played our first successfull one two since 95 i distinctly heard the pair going ole ole ole

Still must be short of true match fitness so needs a few more games under his belt.
Quicker than I had given him credit for, always looked to get the ball to the wide man (2nd half). Just looks a decent player.
