I think we'll easily sell 4,200 at £20/£10. I for one stopped going to some places - principally Chelsea - because I wouldn't pay their prices. We ended up taking the minimum allocation and I. But when we played them in the League Cup at £20 we sold 3,000 for a less important game. That was at the time when we were playing Chelsea, etc, on a regular basis.
Basing priority on four away sales is always going to be a rough and ready approach. We will never collect the details of all purchasers, never mind all those who use the tickets, because of people buying in the run-up to kick-off at The Valley when we don't have time to record the information and people who buy on the day. We recognise that this will cause issues with people who rotate the actual purchaser, but there is no perfect system.
We haven't announced the second priority because the early sales will give us an indication of the demand, so for example we can go to one per season ticket holder if that will be fairer based on what's left. Not saying that will happen, just we have that option on the table.

Also sold out at Fulham in the FA Cup when they played at Loftus Road despite only take 1,000 there or so in the league. I fully support our boycott against expensive tickets.
As I said elsewhere I'm past caring about this now.
However this is a CUP competition not league and in my opinion if season ticket holders are not considered good enough supporters to be given priority for tickets then those fans who have attended earlier CUP games should get priority.
Just an opinion and I am probably in a minority of one with it.
Just been down there and bought 5 tickets. Didn't need to give Red Card numbers, show ticket stubs or anything. Easy. Don't know what all the fuss is about.

Have no problem with the system, agree season ticket holders should not get priority just because they have a season ticket, however if you have been to 4 or more away games- then it is right you get priority.
Despite going to earlier cup games, just because someone went to Barnet (hardly miles away for most) or the home cup games, don't see why they should be prioritised ahead of those at Carlisle, Exeter, Tranmere etc. Just my opinion.
[cite]Posted By: DiscoCAFC[/cite]FFS I can't go to that game. I am flying out on the same day so it will be difficult to get there then get to Heathrow :-(
Hope this is gonna be on tele.
Sorry to disappoint you but i don't think it is. Only reason it is on a sunday is because Arsenal play at home on the Sat.
Ive done 6 away games, including tonight, this season and im the only one out of my mates who qualifies for tomorrow sales, so i just want to be reassured that they will stay until the second phase.
just got home from christmas night out with uni mates in southampton, watched game in pub dressed as santa. over the fu**in moon and cant wait to give the yids the hiding they deserve, will give my left bollock for a ticket!!!!!
Crispy, you might be better off using the proceeds of your bollock sale to pay your uni fees in future, seeing as the rest of us will no longer be paying them for you.
can I just say anybody who is a season ticket holder at Charlton Athletic is not a plastic whether, they have been to all or no away games this season.I think it is pretty disgusting that people are referring to others in this way who make a commitment vital contribution to the club not only a very long time before a season starts, but help it run during the summer.

Do I care? No!
I agree with that.
