All this moaning makes me wonder how everyone coped before the internet arrived!
Oh wait, we did just fine before we got this luxury, be thankfull we have this kind of technology is at our disposal!
[cite]Posted By: Mike_CAFC[/cite] plus we will get supported on the football league iphone app now
This seems to be the only upside. Supposed to be a very good app. We're still not supported by it yet though. Suppose we'll have to wait for them to release an update before we can make use of it.
Think this is just another way that the club is moving further away from the fans. Harder to buy tickets now that the Bexleyheath club shop is shut, now it's harder to find out ticket info. If you ring the club for tickets, it costs you. And now they've chopped away the fans' views section - they probably didn't want any feedback.

Its horrible and just shows what good work Airman and his team both past and present put into the old site and its predecessors going back to the original unofficial just text site (presumably it would now be called a blog).
Its going to takes some getting used to but hopefully will help us in the rest of the club and as I said before I don't use the Official site half as much as here, so it was a nice to have really.
I hate it but it's no surprise as we were told it was coming. The question is - If we do get promoted to the Championship ( or above) or we get some nice new super wealthy owners will we go back to having a web site that has some sort of soul or a feel of independace about it ?
I saw the website today after my work computer blocked it and left me wasting 15megabytes of my phone data allowance loading it up. I died a little inside.
What horrible timing for my OS feature writing debut :-(
PS on the state of the actual programme, with all the redundancies and the season-after-season increase in home games, I'd be surprised if the short-staffed comms team managed to keep their award-winning standards from a few years back.
'tis indeed a dark time for all sides of the club at the moment.
we were pretty much told by the club that it was going to be crap, and it is. Not surprised tbh, but rarely go on it other than to confirm things from here such as signings so no massive loss. If it's money in the bank, then that's a positive
it is crap they were correct, I hate it and will avoid it like the plague, its too busy and the fonts are too small, and the layout is poor, the old one was nicely laid out had the links/pages nicely neatly done in columns to the left and right with main news in a big spread in the middle which drew the eye nicely - end of an era, etc
They did, Woody. There was an article up on the old site ages ago. And then in July, they announced they'd made their decision and were signing up with the footballing devil.
Oh my god.......Can't stand this lay-out. Have been on other clubs sites which are run by the same company and i hate them. it takes an eternity to find anything on these things. i normally go on OS evryday but not sure if i can stomach it on there. So why the change? financial reasons? hence the reason 70% of the screen is filled with crappy ads..
Don't thing i'll be using it much more. I'll wait until someone posts anything relevant on here

Things'll get a lot worse before they get better.
Oh dear
Who you calling dear?
And the club programme's pretty rubbishy too these days.
I'll think of some more stuff to moan about in a minute.
Mind you, the burgers are better these days, so the club can have a gold star for that at least.

And we've got real ale at the Yeovil game (if you sit in the right area of the ground).

It'll be flat.
It's not like it used to be back in 1923.
If you can remember that far back, you must be around 100 years old, Woody.
