hands off tisdale, I do not think he wants to move a the moment however. I actually think Charlton would suit him and should be on your radar in the future.
how about keeping the manager till the end of his contract. i know its rare in football these days when results start to slide, but financially what other options are there?
"We looked like a team which had had a win on Tuesday and just thought they could turn up and play.No team in this division has got enough quality just to turn up and get the ball down and play. You have got to compete and roll your sleeves up and win the first ball and win the second ball first of all, and then play on the back of that."
What seems to be lacking from that statement of the obvious is any recognition of that fact it was Parky's job following Tuesday's win to instill the right attitude and make the team underatand they couldn't they could just ''turn up and play''.
Any manager who says words to the effect of 'my team didn't show the right attitude out there today' is surely coming dangerously close to signing their own death warrant...
I'd take anyone who can motivate and give our bunch of under achieving players a good kick up the backside. What I'd give for a manager like Neil Warnock.
George Graham. Managed brilliantly at 3rd Div level before with Millwall. Wouldn't have had a first half performance like that today under him. The players need someone to kick their arses and then get them organised.
Park is a prick, I walked away from this sie in the past because of my views, and some two years on they are justified, theman can not take us as a club, we are to big forhim. Never thought I would say we are to big, but in this case we are, Pardew was treated wrongly, had the so called "board" treated Dowie the same maybe just maybe we would not have hartlepool away to look forward to. Apologies for the use of the english but sorry it is justified. Parkingson is a no nothing prick.
Let's face it we all know that he should have gone when pardew did but I believe he has to be given 10 more games then we will know for certain if he can or can't get anything out of these players or he really has turned our club into the footballers graveyard
again apologies for the spelling, just very pissed off at the moment. Some of these guys are not fiit to be called pro's. If they was in any other job they would be on there last warning.
the problem is he has been allowed in some respects to build his own team! Trust me I'm over wait and 40+ but |I would pose a bigger threat Than our crop of fowards............Where is super clive, his name alone on the team sheet would cause more problems then some of these so called pro footballers.

Take no notice. It's something different every week.
"Dodgy penalty." "Indifferent referee." "We ended the game strongly and that gives us something to build on next week."
Some fans are no different.
"We're only X points off a play-off place ffs."
Like, how many points can you be off in a crap League after nine games?
I'll be at Plymouth next week, but this 'management' team is testing my resolve.
Graham Westley at Stevenage, please. Make him an offer, Richard Murray. He'll come ... as we are a step up from where he is now ... although I'm not sure for how much longer.
Ok just got in, not in the best state for a proper debate but anyone who wants Martin Allen, I am in favour. Great character and very good manager imho.
Doubters- read the John Salako article in the Brentford programme about his season at Brentford under Allen!! Allen would sort us out. Fresh ideas, a little different/maverick and exactly what we need.
Suggestion hasn't been made yet, and while I think he's an incredibly annoying man, I'll suggest Phil Brown. He's done well once with Parkinson's team. Hopefully he leaves out the self-praise and putting the club on the brink of financial collapse stuff if he were to come to Charlton.
For successful hoofball, Steve Cotterill (if Pompey decide he's not good enough to bring them to the Premier League... as if they deserve to be able to say that ffs)
Curbs or Lennie for me. What we need is disipline and organisation. I don't think there's too much wrong with the squad of players that he has assembled, not for this division. We need a manager who's appointment would lift the crowd and the players and get them playing good football again. Paulo Di Canio would have that effect, but would probably be too much of a gamble in our current perilous position.
What about the rest of the coaching team. There is also Breacker and Kinsella. How much is down to these guys? Even if they pay off Parky they won't be able to afford a complete change in coaching staff so any new man will most likely inherit the same coaching team. That's what Billy Davies didn't like, if I remember correctly, having Les Reed and Andrew Mills forced upon him.
We could probably afford a whole new management team just on Mills' salary now! Haven't blamed him for anything for a while so I think our problems in League One are down to Andrew Mills.
Phil Brown's a good shout, as is Martin Allen. But what can we afford?
When we appointed Parky, Di Canio was offering to do the very same job, for free, shame the board decided to take the option of spending money, employing a total tool.

No to Allen, Wise, Ince
Would be interested in Mark Bowen.
I doubt Jorge Costa would leave the Portuguese Liga for this shower.
He's got nearer to the end of his contract than curbs was allowed to

Paul Ince, Chris Powell not sure about Kinsella as he is part of the set-up now. Di canio or Jorge Costa would be interesting choices.
Money is a major problem for us and that's why they will stick with Parkinson!
