And then there's Dazzler a completely different type of winger to all the others mentioned. He is gifted with the touch of a rapist, the speed of a slug on salt and the vision of stevie wonder. It amazes me why he never made it to pro level ;-)
Got to laugh, Uncle, ha ha .... poor old Dazzler, a Charlton Life legend.

We can look at Reid & Sam as different types of wingers, but in my view Kyle Reid would be double the asset over a course of a season than Lloyd Sam. Be suprised if Sheff Utd went for him and let Reid go. Unless Reid goes for personal reasons.
Kind of agree with large there is a chance Sam will stay, could well be in his comfort zone. That said Jon Fortune seemed a similar character, and he moved on.

I believe the issue will be money ...... Sam was given a 4 year contract by Dowie at the beginning of our last Prem season,
so he's probably faced with something like earning (only!!) £3k per week instead of £10k. And only at best a 2 year contract.
On the other hand, he could go somewhere like Queers Park Rangers, get a 3-year contract worth around £7k - £10 per week without moving house.
Jonny Fortch nearly came unstuck, as remember the reported banter with other players on the plane back from the Ireland tour in the summer?...... as his ex-Prem contract expired, he'd have probably been offered at Charlton a new contract worth at best £4k a week. And at nearly 30, and with only a few seasons left in him, he evidently felt he could still pick up much better wages at a Championship club.
I bet he was a bit unsure to find he was at first only offered a 3 month deal at Sheff Untied - and probably at best around only half his expired Charlton contract. I'm only guessing of course.
Having known him since 2005 I can categorically state that he is a genuinely lovely lad. Obviously I hope he stays with us but if he does move on I'll pass all the good wishes onto him
Sam - don't I know you? Don't I sit behind you in the East ? You cannot still be defending him surely? His shirk of a tackle and gentle jog back at Swindon sums him up. Curbs would have subbed him for pulling out of a tackle. Missed you for the last game, my customary surprise of ''Blimey, they've bought Lloyd Sam on'' as the players run out for the second half fell flat without you there.

Double marked and too many stepovers. Not enough crosses/passes. He seems lazy in the way he runs - look at him in the warm ups.
Wagstaff seems to have trouble staying on his feet but covered a lot more grass during his time on the pitch on Monday night.

Sam Lloyd does. But better than that, she loves him!
;o)
...................with all my heart
Sam ..... tell all these horrible people on here that your Lloydie is a lovely lad - and he will stay at Charlton,
but only because of you.
Hello Sam, can you shed any light on this, pls?
Hi Oggy, unfortunately his lungs have never popped up in conversation
Hi Oggy (& JT) so I'm to blame for his assists that haven't been converted then - I can live with that ;-)
Yep I'll shoulder the blame for that too - blimey it must be true love (hope you're watching Lloydie)
Lloyd Sam summed up in 10 seconds
LOL - yet ANOTHER assist which wasn't converted
