[cite]Posted By: forzajuve_27[/cite]What's the betting Llera still starts on Saturday? I really think he will, think this could well be a 1-0 away win like people have predicted, with a horrible atmosphere of the crowd turning on the team(probably myself included) if the players just arn't putting the effort in. However that being said this could also be the point where the players decide that they need to get their act together and do what they say and overcome last weekend's despair and thrash Gillingham. Could also see a frustrating 1-1 or 2-2 draw with either ourselves our the Gills nicking it in the last minute. This game is so tough to call but think it will either be us winning comfortably, drawing agonisingly or losing narrowly.
So basically you could see us either winning, drawing or losing! :-P
Wouldn't be totally against seeing how Llera and Sodje got on, it could be disastrous but Dailly hasn't been doing that much better recently.
Want to see Shelvey/Burton up front again, Shelvey might just be able to create something, and he will be a better option than Mooney playing behind the striker. Who doesn't do anything.
Read in the Metro today, Parky quoted as saying that some players that havent been playing have been training well and will get a start. Got to be Jonjo & S Sodje surely.

I hope so, really should be, Jonjo especially.
I'm going to say a draw. Sam Sodje will come back in and afterwards we'll be saying he has to play and is much better than Llera. Eventually his run of form will probably end and Llera will come back in, and we'll be saying our results are better with Llera in the team.

ha ha so true of most of em .... all our players are brilliant whilst not playing FACT
My reservation about making a lot of changes from Saturday is what if the new lot you bring in don't show an improvement from the old lot. What do you do then? Pardew kept making changes when things went badly but it made no difference and we ended up using 40 odd players in a season and never getting consistency.
I'd like to see last weeks players given a chance to make amends and just bring in Jonjo and Sam Sodje. If last week's team show no response to that humiliation then there's not much hope for them.
[cite]Posted By: incorruptible addick[/cite]Of course we will win. To lose after last week's humilation would show some consistency - and everybody knows we're nothing if not inconsistent!
Comfortable 2-0. Would like to Spring, Shelvey and Burton in the starting XI. And Youga, if fit.
Could be a good shout on Spring. He seems to have the experience and calmness on the ball which we lack. I thought he should have come on at millwall to steady things up.
Really think this game is pivotal. Lose and the season disintegrates, could see us dropping out of the play-offs. Win and we're still in the chase for second and have a decent gap between us and 7th.
Unfortunately we're playing a side in "their cup final" for the second week on the spin, and once again they'll be inspired by an unusually large support. Add to that the amount of times over the years when I've seen us helpout teams who are on some form of run - losing streak, not won at home/away all season, etc, and I smell disaster. Hope I'm wrong.

I agree we shouldn't just go and make 5/6 changes, but then I'd also like to see what is closer to our best team. I'd like to see Sodje in for Llera or even Dailly, Shelvey behind Burton and Sam or Wagstaff in for Racon. Not ideal as that's four changes but it would be a better side.
I think Parky will only make 1 or 2 changes, to give the players a chance to redeem themselves.
However an edgy crowd will be too much pressure for them and they will capitulate to the away day specialists.
Shelvey must play in 4-5-1- crying out for some creativity.
I know there was lots of criticism for playing this formation at home earlier in the season, but it worked and boy do we need some home comfort.
Well another change now with Borrowdale here. Like I said ideally I don't really want to see 5/6 changes, but I'd also rather see Shelvey behind Burton, Sam or Wagstaff on the right (with Reid back on the left), Sodje in to change things around in the defence. That's a much stronger team than one with Akpo and Mooney up front and Solly out of position so might have to be done.
Will probably see something in between, like 3/4 changes rather than 5/6.
That's what I want, but with Shelvey closer to Burton. If he plays like a midfielder and drops deep to get the ball off the defence, we end up with Burton stranded with no support. Started to happen before we changed it around and put Burton with McLeod or Mooney.
Sam Sodje in for Llera as well, just to give us some pace at the back and he usually has a good game when coming back into the team.

if they are fragile away from I would like to think we would try to put them on the backfoot from the first whistle

I cant begin to predict where the result would be but 6 changes from the starting 11 last week could be a good start.
