Disgraceful kick at Van Persie and premeditated celebration designed to insult Arsenal fans. 3 match ban for kick and two for celebration should do the trick to the self important lying arrogant twat. imho of course.
whats the problem ? Van Persie is a lump of shit anyway. Remember at The Valley a few years back ? and as for the poor gooners being a tad upset ----------------o deary me-----please let it be a very regular happening.
It seems disrespectful to his own fans in my mind. It would be weird if one of ours scored at the covered end but instead of celebrating with the fans there they bombed down to the jimmy seed to wind up the other lot. Suppose that's what you get with merceneries tho.

He should ahve gone 10 minutes into the match for a tackle on Fabregas that could have broken his ankle.
Seeing those Arsenal fans does make me laugh though. The bloke in the black t-shirt and long hair at the top of the picture actually writes for the Arsenal website, not sure he will be for much longer.

So you won`t condemn a viscious kick at a fellow professional which could have easily caught his eye and ended his career ?
i accept it was a poor thing to do and he will get punished however SHG van persie tried to take him out with the tackle in the first place
every ex pro that has spoke about it has said the same Van Persie tried to do him and adebeyor reacted wrong i agree but if you give it your going to get it back at some stage and van persie is always giving it.
as for the celebration fair play to him, he done it the gooner mugs hated it he got booked end of the fa cant do feck all about it if the ref has dealt with it.
any gooner that moans about it being disgracefull should look at themselves 1st the song about elephants and his mum that they bitched about when the spuds invented it they sang all game,
tough shit, its a shit club with shit fans
any team that puts the word THE infront of their name when talking about themselves deserve to be slung out of any league tossers the lot of them

He was subjected to abuse by the Arsenal fans when he played for them, and then during yesterday's game he was subjected to the kind of sustained vile chants about himself and his family that would result in the arrest of the perpetrators if it happened outside the context of a football match, and you criticise him for celebrating in a way that might insult those fans!
The celebration was dangerous and the FA should take action. But, it always astounds me when fans feel they can hurl disgusting abuse at players and then feel they have the right to get upset when those players give it back.
I absolutely love watching replays of Cantona hurling himself at that Crystal Palace thug and the startled look on the thug’s face as he realised he was getting a response to his abuse. And I absolutely loved watching Adebeyor sprinting the full length of the pitch so that he could stop in front of his abusers and say ‘Fuck You!’ He should not have done it but I can’t blame him for doing it, and if I was in his position I would have done exactly the same, and those Arsenal fans that were abusing him deserved that response.
The incident with Van Persie looks worse the more I see it. It really does look as if he meant to hurt Van Persie and he could have inflicted a serious injury. For that I think he should get a 3 match ban.

Plus, Van Poxy should also be disciplined for his tackle (that was clearly meant to inflict injury). For him to release his 'butter wouldn't melt' statement really is a bit much. Wenger probably didn't see it though!
If Van Persie hadn't tried to take him out with that disgusting tackle from behind, he wouldn't have been in the posistion to get stamped on. He may think more carefully before trying to take another player out in future, but i doubt it.
Great celebration, terrible stud to RVP which will hopefully see him banned for a number of games.
I agree with the person that said players should be able to give it back. Deon Burton gave some abuse to our supporters yesterday after we gave some to him. Didn't exactly bother me, when he scored though - if he had ran the full length to wind up the saints fans, I may be saying something different!
cant really comment on tackle as havent seen it, so would be unfair to shoot him down on that front as the mo
celebration alone should get a ban, wat an absolute knobhead he thought he was bigger then arsenal which he clearly was not and that just proves wat a bad attitude he has, can sort of understand him doing it as arsenal fans did give him stick but he is a role model so feel they should make an example of him.
The problem I have with players inciting fans - of eiother side - is the effect it has on others such as the steward that had to go to hospital. Hopefully he will get a personal apology from Adeybayor
Ban Adebayor for 5 games, his attitude at Arsenal last year was a disgrace. Thought he was better than Henry after one good season. HIs behavior yesterday was disrespectful to the fans who worshipped him and Wenger who has helped make him the player he is. Van Persie's challenge was bad but for Adebayor to stamp on his head is criminal.
[cite]Posted By: Friend Or Defoe[/cite]Great celebration, I think players should be allowed to give it back.
The stamp was out of order.
Would you still say the same if Alan Pardew came running up to the covered end after Soouthamptons goal ?
if i had been giving hi,m dogs abuse and he did it i would do similar to what the gooners did but i would leave it there in the ground i wouldnt bitch and cry about it like the gooners are
Before last season when his attitude began to change, the Arsenal fans loved him (2006/07 and first half of 07/08). Only when the AC Milan rumours surfaced did he fall out of love with the fans.

What an odd post !

Charlton fans sing incest songs at rival supporters though ? !
Still, that stamp was disgusting and he should be banned for that, blatent cheating that could end a career.

Then don't give out abuse you can't take back.
enough for them to sing songs about his mum and elephants
their gooners it doesnt matter
Best celebration I've seen for a long time
