It does, what a twat! He then comes out and does an interview trying to make out he is all apologetic. He should be banned for the stamp and the celebration was obviously pre planned!
To be fair, never seen that much life from a group of Arsenal fans before. Mind you, if you look closely there is a group of about 30 or 40 all pushing and shoving to get past the stewards and onto the pitch - all 4 or five stewards. Not exactly trying hard were they?!
The stamp was a liberty - he should be banned for that. As for the celebration though, didn't sergeant major Neville do pretty much the same thing in front of the mickeys a few years back? He didn't get banned for that, and nor should Adebayor
As for the celebration, it annoys me when players go out of their way to antagonise oppositions fans, I'd be happy to see the next player to do it get a smack for their troubles.

When I go to work tomorrow morning there will be a couple of Arsenal fan punters in and this is exactly what I was going to say to them.
Generally I would say running the length of the pitch to bait the opposition fans is poor form but because it's Arsenal I suppose it's totally acceptable.
If Craig Bellany scores against Wet Spam he WILL NOT celebrate in front of their fans - FACT
I dont think he's above this form of behaviour he would just be scared for his life.
Liked Linikers comment to Shearer about kicking players in the head... something about kicking another player in the head, in the heat of the moment - aye Alan.
I have not seen the kick in the head on RVP but I have seen his goal celebration and he should receive a three match ban for that alone given the circumstances involved.
That celebration could have sparked a bloody riot, it was totally uncalled for and he had all the time in world to think about what he was doing but he just carried on running and gave it to the Arsenal fans at the other end of the ground.
You simply can't allow that stuff to go unpunished and the FA need to sanction him because that's exactly the sort of stuff that could trigger a very nasty crowd retaliation - the last thing we need when we are trying to get the World Cup.
thought it was blinding no more thanthe d4rty bstd van persie deserves and then running all that way to give shit to the most righteous bunch of knobs that are in football priceless
take that you gooner shite i say give the man a medal
When i first saw it.. I thought it was accidental. However when you see it again it was awful. You can't argue he couldn't move his foot out of the way. His foot changed direction toward Van Pirsie, and as for the goal celebration that was taking the mick... He should be banned for 3 games..
Henry celebrated in the same way against Spurs at Highbury, and where was the moralising bollock then, the fans dished it out, they should take it back
Arse fans have got the ump with him as he's a money grabbing judas, and their salary policies can't competejust like Ashley Cole, and er Sol Campbell..
Heard the head of the FA Ian Watmore on the radio this morning going on about Adebayor.
He said it was out of order and he would get his people to look at Adebayor and punish him. This was pretty prejudicial but then again Watmore is a rabid lifelong Gooner. I've been at a couple of conferences that Watmore spoke at when he worked for the government. They had nothing to do with football but he still managed to work in one story about how great he thinks the Arse are. I reckon they'll be treated leniently while he's in charge.

The goal celebration was out of order.
As was that prick from Southampton yesterday.
This sort of behaviour will soon create serious croud trouble.
Would either of these guys have doen the same at West ham/Millwall?
I think not.

The ref saw it and booked him.
That's why I thought it was a bit premature for the head of the FA to dive in before he's seen the ref's match report. I think Adebayor was out of order.
Just for reference, he's Henry doing the same. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9HnWUGc50U&feature=PlayList&p=E8D905AADA3C2636&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=22
3 match for the stamp, 3 match for RVP for the tackle, nothing for the celebration
Comments
Van Persies statement was laughable though. Almost as bad for inciting fans as the celebration.
There's no way Henry could run the length of a pitch - he'd trip over his cardy.
Oh, I see.........

Have I missed something??
what a d*ck...
totally out of order... once again what have I missed....
take that you gooner shite i say give the man a medal
The stamp was a straight red, but then so was Van Persie tackle on Adebayor
