  • Moutakill goes to Scotland on loan
  • Motherwell on 6 months loan
  • at least he is partly off the wage bill (no doubt we are subsidising it)

1441: Scottish latest: Motherwell have completed the loan signing of Charlton Athletic's former French U21 captain Yassin Moutaouakil, who is a right-back.

I like that Parky has got this unknown winger on loan with a view to a permanent transfer. If he is cack we get rid and save wages, unlike Pardew who would sign him up for 5 years on a £5k a week contract.

Jonny Heitinga is a football manager legend Ledge. And he is pretty good in real life too, good move for Everton, better than Lescott.

    Here we go again.

Good luck to him and hope he does well.

Whatever we save on his wages will be welcome.

What if he goes there and does well - comes back with a re-found confidence and determination ?

Then we'll sell him to Celtic or Rangers
  • All well and good but would still worry that what seems to be a united squad would be disrupted.

He has pace and some talent and given the right support and with the right attitude he could be a success.

That the best his agent and our staff could get for him was Motherwell on loan is very telling IMHO
  • short term Motherwell. He will look good up there and then sell him to Rangers or Celtic for big money.

    Good deal

  • He won't even learn the language in 6 months.........
  • 2 hours to go and still nothing comfirmed on the offical website regarding signing - getting frustrated !!!

It's the same for all clubs. Every year there are transfers which are completed after the deadline due to unspecified paperwork and convenient fax machine excuses.

They confirmed the u18s lost 3-0 to West Brom ;-)

I'd offer to give him lessons, but not sure I'm old enough for him ;-)
  • Aren't Sodje and McKenzie both out-of-contract - so does the deadline apply to these deals? Also the loan market stays open until November for short term loans - so again there's probably no rush with regards to Holden either.
  • Confirmed we've signed Holden on loan until Jan then with a view to make it permenant.

Confirmed where? I know I posted it was on Rhyl's site, but I can't get on our OS.
  • John Terry has signed a five year deal with Chelsea, another transfer target slips out of our grasp.

  • Any news on Darren Purse yet?
  • Pleased to see that Yassin has a club now & will hopefully be playing regular football. Good luck to him.
  • The OS is just like the team - when you really need it to come through for you it lets you down
  • I would think there will be nothing on the OS til the day's dealings are done, then the in's and out's will be up in one Deadline Day story
  • Non league gamble = Beckford at Leeds was playing upfront with my younger Brother at Wealdstone 3 years ago. My Brother is now without club and i Bet beckford brother had a new car for Christmas, Curse you football :-(
  • Blackpool were clearly most impressed by Bouazza's showing up there last December, which has gone down on this site and elsewhere as one of the worst performances (he was on the pitch) by a Charlton player for many a year.
  • zheng zhi to celtic subject to medical and work permit...
