  • Sam cokes would have been great in this league - wonder if we'll plug our defensive gaps now or just make do.....
  • At least Jonjo is staying, that is a sign of our intent.
  • [cite]Posted By: mart77[/cite]Sam Vokes and Darren Ward are being loaned out by Wolves. Two players who i'd love to get but i think they'll end up in the CCC.

    The "County Cricket Championship" ?
    ;-)
  • At the end of today we will still have Bailey/Racon and Shelvey. Didn't think for one minute that was possible at the start of the summer.
  • Don't speak too soon BRE
  • Come on the board.Pull yer finger out and get us some re-enforcements.You've been sitting on your hands all summer.Parkys kept his end of the bargain up the fans have done their bit.Time for you to start doing a bit!

  • [quote][cite]Posted By: No.1 in South London[/cite]Ben Watson signed on a six month loan by QPR from Wigan[/quote]

    That's a great loan signing.
  • As Sodje and Mckenzie are both out of contract does it matter if they sign by 5.00pm?

I think the club should string it out for as long as possible.
  • SSN saying that Pompey are paying £3 mill for Watford's Mike Williamson. Unbelievably overpriced.

Rhyl official site confirms Luke Holden will sign on loan until January with a view to a permanent move.

He'll have to prove himself (like Small failed to do) so could work out quite well.
After much speculation Rhyl FC can confirm that Luke Holden is to join League 1 leaders Charlton Athletic later today.

The winger will initially join Charlton on loan until the end of the year with view to a permanent move in January.

The Club wishes Luke all the very best and hopes he fulfills all his potential with the London club.

No they can sign at any time ..... but not necessarily for us - maybe they'll get a better offer from a club with more money.
They've both played regularly in the Championship - so a desperate Barnsley, Palace or Plymouth Argyle could come in for them.

We need to sign them now, while we have the chance.

Cool, that gives us until January to get the takeover done so we can afford the £10K purchase price !!

Ssssh, Oggy - don;t give 'em ideas!
  • I am sure I saw Sodje in the car park before the wycombe match
  • Brunello said Holden wasn't coming which proves that he knows nothing : - )

Still not on the only OS that matters yet and as Plato once said.....

  • Sodje did great for us - a real top quality defender - but was holding out for a Championship team and as such did not sign. We waited so long and in the end got Kisnorbo. The one thing about Sodje is that he cannot play two games in a week and is incapable of training by all accounts; an injury nightmare waiting to happen, but if you can get him on a 'pay as you play' deal, would be a coup.

I found him average at Championship level but in League One he'll be solid. Why is he incapable of training?
  • At the minute it sounds like Maglor got the transfer moves close to spot on.
