  • Eau de toilette for me.

    Literally toilet water.

As an aside do you reckon mint shower gel actually tastes like mint? Smells like it I know but parmesan cheese smells like vomit and tastes, wel it tastes slightly different to vomit.

I used to contemplate having a taste of the ex missus' fructis shampoo, smelt bloody lovely. I'm sure it can't be as tasty as it smells though
  • nobody realised that guys name?

    Nick A Spanner?
  • What a funny guy you are WSS
  • I wasnt trying to be funny spanner - just pointing something out.
  • i genuinely thought nick was a millsmall fan when i saw the name as well
  • I have three theories:

He's a Millwall fan called Nick
He's a builder who steals other people's work tools
He's a policeman who arrests Millwall fans

I wonder which, if any, is correct?

You would have been convinced if you'd seen him on Saturday mate. It'd given you something new to moan about when discussing our away support.......;-)

I've never come across such a pair of moaning, ill-informed, negative dullards in all my time going away. Highlighted by the fact that you think that Jerome " nice step-overs, but cant cross" Thomas has been better than Ambrose, who has scored and created goals regularly for the past 15 games.........It beggars belief!
  • Time to sink this one, its getting tedious me thinks....come on guys, lets stop slagging each other off and make a fresh start eh?

    No!
  • Great.....get on with it then, this sort of crap just drives people away.

  • like i keep saying until the likes of those players are out the team, we will never push forward, ambrose has scored 7 yes set up 4 wow in about 27 appearences but how many goals conceded are down to him not closing down or helping the full backs out, you love these players because they stay and clap at the end, and people like you with your rose tinted glasses cant see that they need to be dropped. we get all these new players in yet pardew wants to be too loyal to Ambrose and Holland, why get in players like semedo, cook, Sincair, yassin if your just going to drop them for old timers and lazy shi*es like ambrose.
I dont give a sh*t what you think of my moaning, at the end of the day i'm there week in week out singing my heart out, against ipswich i finally lost. everyones allowed opinions and because i decided to express my self the way i did I'M WRONG, I'M NOT A REAL FAN, I'M ONLY HERE FOR THE FREE SEASON TICKET, I'M THIS I'M THAT bolloxs to you thats all i can say. I cant sit there like a mug and bottle everything up if there's a problem with the team i say it.
  • i'm pretty sure there is a fair bit of wires crossed here to be honest, i think all parties here are going on about different incidents.

As said above, all have had their say. Lets leave it at that now.

Come on mate, Ambrose has arguably been our best player for the past 15 games. I know thats not saying much but its fact.

These players do stand and clap at the end but if no-one did i bet you'd be banging on that "the players don't care, they don't even acknowledge us.

Cook is a lazy fecker on the training ground.

Sinclair has done nothing when he played (and he played for 75 odd minutes against Preston).

Yassin dropped a clanger against Scunthorpe and Halford had a cracker against Sheff Utd and Palace so thats why he kept it in.

I respect your opinions Spanner but i don't agree with them. I don't think i have rose tinted glasses on, i appreciate that we are in a bad situation at the moment, with no clear tactical nous etc. But slagging off Ambrose and Holland who have been our two best players in 2008 is bang out of order.

The supporters need to stick together more than ever now, but we need to stick with the 11 players on the pitch as well, whoever they may be. They need us to support them for this very important stage of the season. Not moaning for every misplaced pass or if the ball goes out of play. It happens to every team, not just Charlton.
  • [cite]Posted By: jimmymelrose[/cite]One point I was brooding the other day:

'Spectators are not necessarily supporters, and supporters are not necessarily spectators'

    Thats a fantastically true statement.

I bet he knows how to use a toilet....
  • I was unhappy with the support TBH

    We moved

From V1 as some woman called me a F**king C**t all I was doing was standing and getting behind the team we moved to the back poor poor view were we were, so sort refuge with the lifers in the second half.
In fact V1 was like a funeral it was us 3 and maybe a few others singing the rest glued to the seat unless they were slagging the team off, tried to have a laugh with a bloke in front who was picking his pie yes picking bits off eating, he looked at me like I was a mugger and cuddled his pie , I said sorry mate I really don’t want any I was having a laugh, the look I got was amazing.
A few times we moaned at people around us to get behind the team all we got was funny looks the steward with us said he has never known away support so quiet, even the Police said it was the easiest overtime he had earned LOL,

Carter was that the people in front that I told to sit down who did not move until the slagging off started?
  • I suppose it's all matter of opinion, i feel Ambrose and Holland are not good enough you feel they are fair enough.
Cook looked good when he came on against Watford and looked decent first half agaisnt Blackpool, Yes sinclair looked crap against PNE but was that due to the fact he played on the left all game, as soon as he swiched over to the right even though it was about 5 mins before he got subbed off he looked comfortable there and quite promising, what confiedence can it give the players just to be dropped out the squad completley. same with Semedo he looks a very good player took a few games to settle in but was playing the holding role very well until he was dropped.
Yassin I cant explain he made a howler against Scunthorpe Yes but Halford cant pass and does not hold line well at all, many times we have been lucky not to concede where he has been standing at least 2 yards further back then the rest of the defence.
All in all things can only get better (I hope) bring on the West Brom
