    The People says we've tied up a deal for Green, have agreed a fee for Dale Stephens and had two bids rejected for Osborne at Brentford.

    I wonder if he was the Brentford player Mr Varney said had asked us to double his wages,

    Maybe as with the Beast at Col U the centre back are the ones we are having to spend a sizable fee on and so taking longer to tie up as we haggle with their current clubs.

    Also with each good signing I get more confident that we will get the players we need at the back, it is all about momentum and players will want to join what is obviously becoming a great squad.

    Osborne or Legge would be ideal. Doubt they'll want to lose either player but hopefully we'll do enough to get them in. I may be wrong but I reckon this day next week we'll have a lot of happy fans, with regards to our new squad.

    I really hope this one happens, is green definitely just a right sided player? Would hate to see him play out of position, unless he can play both sides of course?

    I would of thought he can play both sides. Whether his out of position or not some managers like to get there wingers to switch sides so they can cut in on the stronger foot. I'm sure his a right sided player but wouldnt be surprised to see him switch sides now and again for whoever he plays for
