mate when the annoucement comes i will inform you all of where i was when the rumours broke and who i was with, but for a tit bit i was in an east london football club that needs new flood lights
Despite his not having officially signed, and thererfore we could be gazumped it looks like this one's in the bag all bar the shouting - the clubs have agreed a transfer and it seems that the club and player have agreed terms and we just need him to sign the contract when he gets back from holiday.
Nice one NLA. I must be honest and say I don't know enough about him to get exited but a good few of you on here are so that's good enough for me. What can we expect from him do you think ?
I think he is a consistant midfielder who has a lot to offer do i think he is worth the money alleged i am unsure, he has a great weapon in his throw ins he is very direct with his play and can stroke a ball, is he better than waggy, i dont know,
to me this potentially could either see waggy slip into the role just off the striker which i know DM feels is his best role. or it could see another youth player hit the sidelines.
BFR I believe the contract to have been done already

His goal scoring record for D&R is 25 from 92 games, not bad for a winger and if we are going to aim for promotion then we need the midfield to contribute. If he can score 14 goals as he did for D&R in relegation (he had 14 assistsin addition) then what will he do in a better side?
Add in Jackson's contributions on the left and if BWP and Hayes, with Benno in reserve gel then we have the makings of a good team going forward.
As for the player himself - works hard, tracks back well, has a good shot on him and is a good crosser. In all a coup to get his signature.
I will be very happy if this signing comes off, i have wanted us to sign him for a couple of seasons now. In my opinion he is much better than Waggy, the main reason being he can put in a great cross and he does it consistently, he also seems to know the best time to put his cross in rather than the wingers we have had in the past who stand there doing stepovers and not achieving anything. He also has a great shot on him and it's always nice to see a long throw specialist in the side as well as a good free kick taker, it will be a key signing for us come the end of the season.

@BFR
Thanks for your assessment. Now I'm a bit more exited :0)
I believe you this does have the air of done'n'dusted about it, but until it appears on the OS or the Official Twitter feed...
Put it this way - of all the players that we have signed or even been linked with this is the one, along with Hollands, who I'm most pleased with.

But also, not sure, but I think Green takes free-kicks well and he is exactly what we need to supply deliveries to BWP and Hayes.
Released before he got a scholarship I think.
