    One's a World Cup the other a European Cup.

    That said, even though in theory a World Cup should take precedence, I still don't know which way it will or should go.
    Women's football is way more competitive as a global sport than Women's rugby though.

    If Joe Root tons up in the first 2 tests could be a cheeky late run at it. Absolute legend that deserves to have won it at least once. Probably another one like Jimmy where his whole career being on Sky hasn't helped.

    An away Ashes win would be a massive achievement,  but one falling awkwardly between two calendar years...

    Away Ashes win would be impossible to win SPOTY with. Falls between 2 years and stuck on TNT away from the masses. Unfortunately.

    Ryder Cup team should win over both Women’s teams but they won’t as it’s the BBC . Also agree that root is way overdue it . How can our best ever cricketer never win it ?
