2nd was a clear foul on TC who should have had a penalty when he stayed on his feet. Ref was dogshit. They should have been ten at the end and third wouldn't have happened.
Just watched the 1st half of the Millwall game if we don’t step up they will tear through us like a knife through butter. Fortunately they don’t seem to be able to score from the build up play they create
Don't worry mate, we always up our game against the spanners.
What happened at the Den to give them 20 minutes added time (with only 7 indicated)? Looks like the Wrexham keeper got subbed very late
The keeper got cleaned out and was in a lot of pain either looked like shoulder or neck injury, lots of medics around him before he was eventually wheeled off on a stretcher.
Start with 2 proper, out and out strikers in the next game.
I want TC to do well but he just isnt doing it. Yes he set up the Apter goal but until then he done nothing. A darting run without end product is worth sod all.
What formation are you going to play if you start with 2 proper out & out strikers......because NJ isn't suddenly going to go 442.
He doesn't need to go 442. Campbell was a striker alongside Leaburn..?
Kaminski
Ramsay Jones Bell Apter Edwards

Leaburn Campbell
And as Campbell isnt a proper striker, starting Tanto or Kelman would make more sense.
Comments coming in from Rich Cawley Nathan Jones unhappy about the fact Mbengue not given a second yellow for his foul on Kelman when the score was 1-1.
#cafc boss says that referee told him it wasn't penalised further due to the attack "not being in a promising position".
It was on the edge of the f**king box! No attempt to play the ball.

Doing that we lose our pace, and ability to stretch the opposition... Its why TC is being "shoe-horned" into the team.
Take Campbell out of the team, and I think people would quickly see how limited we are going forward, because teams will be able to double up on Edwards / Apter and stop them going forward entirely.
Campbell is a nightmare, because as an opposition Defender, you dont know if he's going out wide, or down the middle
I thought we unlucky not to get a point, but for the second Saturday in a row, we’ve been taught a lesson in what playing at this level is all about.
QPR coming off the back of a shocking result, we really could’ve done without conceding early on. The longer we could’ve held off the more the crowd would’ve got at them. We started poorly and I think we only got going for the last 15 of the first half, but for me, we were good value for the point once we equalised, we were just undone yet again, and then the third is irrelevant as we’re pushing forward.
It’s frustrating as it’s 2 weeks in a row I didn’t think we deserved to be losing, but I’m not saying we should’ve won either.
We need to stick with them. Hopefully 2 weeks for Jones to think, maybe try something different, give the likes of Tanto a chance to start, Knibbs possibly.
It’s a long season, we’ve been brought back down to earth now. If we can work on being better going forward, I’ve every confidence we can stay up
Was surprised by the subs, first at 60 minutes, when Jones normally waits until the players can’t even blow out their arse any more, then takes off our two best players. Bringing more subs on at 87 and 92 does nothing for the team or the players brought on. Thought we were lacking in all depts today, a bad day at the office, which happens, but our finishing and goals for need a major improvement or its gonna be a very long tough season. But we kinda knew that……..

But he isnt a "nightmare" enough. And when he is, he usually doesn't have an end product ( yes he got an assist today). We have played well against Bristol and Leicester and walked away with one point and whilst you can never say with a 100% certainty, I am confident that we would won at least one of those games with 2 proper strikers playing from the off.
Tanto isnt a slouch and is much stronger than him to keep the ball when running at defenders. Edwards and Apter are crossing and it is only Leaburn attacking the ball, TC doesn't have that Kelman/Godden ability to be near the ball to sniff out a chance if Leaburn wins a knock down.
He needs to do more and he isnt and how long "can he stretch a defence" if we aren't winning games?
Strangely, Gillespie was instrumental in so many of our goals last season. Whether taking set pieces, scoring from set pieces, or accurate long balls for the forwards to run on to. He was also very calm and solid in defence. Bell has done nothing wrong, but if things don't change soon, from a goal scoring perspective, I think we should consider playing him again.
It’s whether he can do the same at a higher level. Or might he be found out for pace and ability on the ball? BBC Sports App guy gave QPR an average of about 6.5 per player and us 4.5, which if seems a trifle harsh. Or have I got the rose tinted specs on? Probably the latter. .
Didn't see the game & haven't seen much of Kelman this season (hardly surprising when NJ leaves him on the bench)so not having a dig at him but I do wonder as I did when we signed him, whether we should have gone out & spent as much as we could on an experienced quality striker proven at this level rather than someone totally unproven in the championship. We knew there would be a big step up in quality & games would be tight, we needed a striker we knew would do the business. Kelman or Leaburn may well go on & develop into decent goal scorers, problem is we need one now.
Not good enough to win despite having some good periods of play.
We seem set up to press teams who play out from the back but when the oppo go direct or catch us on the break we struggle.
We also don't look like scoring or at least not enough.
Not read all the comments but the knee jerk will be, I guess, to slag off whichever player a particular poster doesn't (so Campbell will get pelters despite the assist but Apter will be given a pass despite his crosses being poor) like but I think it isn't that.
We don't yet know how to adapt and when we make subs we lose any shape or pattern so don't look like getting back into the game.
The team and management are still adapting and learning to the higher division and I hope with time and effort they will solve the problems. We're not a million miles away but it's going to be hard work and not happen overnight.
But no one is paying or buying so maybe they will loan him instead of having him waste away on the bench again.of course someone might come in last minute but it's a risk for them if no one does also.

Be staggered if he came to us, but lets hope he does

Yeah don't get me wrong I would be aswell just think zero chance is not right there's atleast something above 1 percent : ) it would hardly be ground breaking considering we are in the championship.
I don't understand why JRS can't get into the Palace match day squad at the moment. It's not as if Palace are struggling with PSR and need to sell a home grown player.
Comments
We had two real chances from decent balls into the box, one we scored, the other Leaburn hit the bar
Other than that, not a lot to show for our possession.

I don’t blame our forwards as I think our real problem is the midfield and wide areas.
We also need more variation as we either rely on Jones to head the ball or we expect the long ball will be enough.
