Yeah Dowman is meant to be " the one" in terms of Arsenals academy. He'll be straight around their first team. I do wonder if there could be a later window PL loan signing though.Radostanradical said:

Maybe but i think Arteta will do seem to Pep does with young talent, even if they wont play as much he will see more benefit to them being around the first team.MarcusH26 said:

There is a politeness between clubs, sometimes observed, sometimes not, of coordinating announcements.
The Carey deal being announced just before the Small deal is possibly an example.
So, yes it is possible that Reading have asked us to hold fire on announcing the Knibbs deal until they have a signing of their own to publicise.
Or it could be nothing to do with it and we've just not said anything due to the recent tragedy or because he's not signed.

Dowman is reported to be the best young talent to come out of a PL academy since Rooney so there's no way he'll be loaned anyway, he'll be in and around their first team squad.4 -

Moore’s gone on loan to Rangers.
