What’s exciting for me is with a few more signings like this we’ll be able to keep that high intensity up.
If he plays alongside Godden/Leaburn/Another he’ll press high and run the channels, and if/when he tires we can bring on TC.
If a team defence lacks pace, overplays at the back or pushes very high we could play him and TC together.
I’d have thought we’ll sign another striker, so it’ll be interesting to see what type we go for. I can see it being someone who’s more of target man, back to goal, hold up the ball but capable of scoring to give Godden real competition.4 -
