Bit of a wobble on Friday, I heard, after the signing leaked,

Deal was agreed but not done but leak notified another club who tried to hijack the deal.

Thankfully, Tanto was set on joining us so all's well that ends well.
That’s interesting but you have to ask quite why “another club” were so shocked by the leak that it prompted them to try and jump in. It’s a transfer that’s been rumoured for weeks so if another club were that interested you’d have thought they would have already been in the mix.

I think this is a brilliant signing. We don't need a ton of goals if we stick to our current formula, so his workrates and liveliness will be a bigger asset. It will mean players can't double up on TC for one.

Got a feeling he is going to be a very popular player.

    Welcome Tanto.
If he plays with TC then it gives real headaches to the opposition defence as they can both split out wide hopefully leaving space for Berry/Carey/another

looks a great signing, fingers crossed he can chip in with 15+ goals ideally
He only scored 8 goals in league one last season.

He’ll chip in with a few I’m sure. I’d think 10 would be what’s expected of him. His strengths will be what else he brings.

No chance of that now they've sold Quansah. The wait goes on to next year

If we had those two up top, and a true 10 behind them, we would be causing teams all kind of bother.

The priority now for me is a true box to box to compliment Coventry's anchoring ability, and someone to play infront of the pair with the ability to score a lot of goals or provide the chance for others. Then we will really start looking like a side that can cause problems.

Chuks replacement , i guess, lets hope he's an upgrade on Gassan, if he scores 5 plus goals this season, i'll be delighted hopefully has a physical presence, and can be a pest.

Think Carey might well take up one of those roles but we’ll see

    Good move for all parties.

    - #CAFC get a striker whose strengths should fit them well.

    - Olaofe gets back to Champ level only 2.5 years after leaving Millwall.

    - Stockport get their first hefty fee of this current player trading era, important for the wheels to keep turning.

Olaofe is exceptional turn a long channel ball forward something dangerous. Perfect for #CAFC & not many out there. Physically, the step up won't be an issue.

Top level finisher? No, but if his technique/weak foot/finishing was consistent & high-quality, he'd be worth £15m+.

Good analysis there from Ali Maxwell.

If the chant doesn't end up being to the tune of Apache by the The Sugarhill Gang I will genuinely be quite annoyed.

Am sure that can be coached into him though - He's only 25, two years older than Kelman who mentioned in the Play-Offs that he took inspiration as a goalscorer from a certain Matty Godden - So who better for Tanto to learn from.

Did Ali Maxwell do a review on Kaminski?

Echo from the other Tanto Post ..

Really pleased with this signing .. welcome Tanto and all the very best during your time at CAFC
I'm looking forward to see you shaking up a lot of Championship defences alongside Matty Godden

Rich now reporting Daniel Kanu is a loan target for Afc Wimbledon. Honestly think that would be a perfect move for him at this stage.
yeah that would be a great move for all parties

That's just disappointing, wheres the creativity .

It took 10 seconds to come up with, Tanto, jump for it, head on it, head on it

You could even follow it up with Ramsay ( Get on it ) or something similar and hit 2 birds with 1 stone

Not seen a review on Kaminski yet , will check if it's on the website instead and will pop it in the Kaminski thread.

Yeah everything with Tanto sounds like it's absolutely coachable

Always pleased when the selling club's fans seem gutted they've gone:
