He’ll have a point to prove that he can make the step up as well. Decent signings so far. A commanding keeper with Prem/Champ experience, a promising forward, and announcing Sonny so quickly suggests it was a long term target with research and thought.RWB and additional CB now needed and another couple of midfielders in my opinion to play alongside Coventry. Coventry is the only player I see pretty much nailed onto start in the midfield if we continue with 5-3-2/3-5-2 etc

I wonder where NJ sees him best I feel he’ll be better along side tc as the main 9 where godden was playing last season and godden, tanto and leaburn can fight for that striker spot then we can sign someone similar to tc ans provide healthy competition that’s if we continue our 352 4231 hybrid. tanto would definitely be better in the 9 from what I’ve seen of him he seems perfect as a striker sitting on the last line running in behind and pressing and harassing defenders. Another very good signing young hungry wanting to prove a point I feel come Watford it’ll be tc and tanto up top with godden coming on last 20 to keep up that intensity looking good but we’ve still got work to do. 4/5 more signings of this calibre and we’re in for a very good season.1

So if that is what makes a player then let’s have a look at them. Josh scored 5 goals in 20 appearances last season at championship level, and he only started 15 of those games. The other five games he came on as a fairly late sub.Tanto scored 8 goals in 42 appearances last season at L1 level. I don’t know how many of those were sub appearances but I would presume he started most games for them.As I say, it was you who initially made a thing about the goal to game ratio.0 -

No idea why but I really think this one is going to work out. Raw pace and desire can go a long way with good coaching and I back our coaching team to get the best out of him1

I like him as a signing, but there are nowhere near enough goals in a forward line of TC and Tanto.
