This is THE position I most wanted to see us strengthen.
Second half of the season Mannion did a good job playing to his strengths behind a dominant defence, but shop-stopping is his weakness, and that would have been exposed in a higher division.
From what I've seen, this lad is very good indeed.

Well that's certainly a bit of a "statement" signing - it suggests that money will be spent if it means getting the players Jones wants.
Probably does mean that we're losing AMB but that's the nature of the game sadly.0 -

Glad we've got it done, feel for Mannion and AMB but this isnt a business to get sentimental over - Am glaf we've got this done, what with the frustrations of trying to get another Goalkeeper last summer6

Exactly this , glad we got him over the line early and didn't spend the whole summer chasing a GK. A positive and looks like an excellent signing , but not too familiar with his appearances. Of course it is down to his performances between the sticks, and how he commands his area.0
