I don’t really care about catching and punching as much as most people on here but my concerns with him are around low shots. I don’t really understand how last night’s one went in and it increasingly feels like if a player hits a very low shot on target that he has to dive for it’s going in. It’s becoming a bit of a problem
The goal we conceded to Swansea was very similar, low shot in the same corner.
One of the Stoke ones as well I think. It seems to be a real weakness

    Quote from RC:
"It shouldn’t go in - he (Kaminski) has to save it.”
That was the verdict of Addicks boss Jones. Yang’s goal had an xG of 0.04.

I agree in that I expected Kaminski to save us some valuable points, but don't feel that has been the reality.
  • We are expected to lose against Coventry. A good time to give Mannion or Maynard Brewer a run out.
Who knows, they may play a blinder to try to claim the No 1 spot.

I cant stress how much I loath his habit to palm the ball right back into the danger zones though
    Did it twice today

Makes good saves but puts everyone back into the danger zone.

What's he supposed to do? Coventry's keeper is supposed to be an England candidate and we scored from him doing this. The save is the priority

Fair but at the same time he made the initial saves well.

Fair... But the answer is to send the ball into some alternative dimension if you ask me ;)

He does seem to do this more than most keepers to be fair. But he is an excellent shot stopper and earned us a point today.

Agree, on at least one of them it then forced him to make a further save and the other I think their guy blazed it wide/over. He really needs to hold onto the ball more.

I think he has done okay so far this season, although I do not think he is worth the supposed 15k a week he's being paid.

Decent today apart from that silly pass to Coventry I think it was in the 1st half.

This save was so good, not only to reach it but to keep his wrists nice and strong

  • Has made plenty of decent saves this season. His distribution is poor and his goalkicks barely cross the half way line.

Not really sure about his positioning at times....

Put it back in the danger zone though. Wibble

He was aiming, with generally great success, for Leaburn?

15/20 accurate long balls against Coventry which is pretty good really. His distribution is actually better than you'd think with the naked eye (stats are per 90)

Nice bounce back from the Pompey goal as well, when it got mentioned that he struggles to deal with low shots like that
  • A great shot stopper, that’s no doubt now. But his distribution is poor and he almost cost us a goal yesterday (albeit after making a great triple save) by being caught in no man’s land coming out, thankfully he saw sense and returned to his goal line. Think there’s a top goalkeeper in there but needs to work on his glaring weaknesses.

Excellent save from a shot heading into the bottom corner from 5 yards out.

Either he does this more than most keepers or we all imagine that he does.
