Back to back wins for Orient and they're 2 points off 6th now (although Huddersfield have game in hand).

That Kelman scored again. 15 league goals (3 assists) for the season now. I thought he was there academy player but actually on loan from QPR.

Puts the heat on Reading, Bolton and Huddersfield, handily. We really need a result Saturday though to put the PB game out of our system and to knock back the threat from the chasing pack.

Hasn't really done anything at QPR or in any of his previous loans. Maybe this season is his 'coming of age' though. QPR need to decide whether to give him another go next season or try and shift him on whilst his stock is reasonably high.

It was a permanent move rather than a loan, but Paul Smyth also came good at Orient, so much so that QPR brought him back!

It's down to 3 from 6 for the play offs now I think, with 4-6th to play for.  I reckon we need 4 more wins. Beat Huddersfield and we would have to massively cock up not to make it. Lose and the next 4 games would make or break our chances.

Sounds like Wrexham got bloody lucky last week, Dave Challinor has claimed that PGMOL have apologised for getting the following decisions wrong.

    - Dobson should have been sent off for Wrexham
    - The penalty shouldn't have been given
    - The Stockport lad shouldn't have been sent off

If you watch the pen, the ref doesn’t give it. Then James McLean goes nuts and for some weird reason, after a longish delay, the ref changes his decision. Very odd.

Lincoln have a big say in the promotion/play off picture although they're probably too far behind to get in it themselves.

    Today Wycombe (A)
    Tuesday 1 April Huddersfield (H)
    Saturday 5 April Charlton (A)
    Saturday 12 April Shrewsbury (H)
    Friday 18 April Reading (A)
    Monday 21 April Bolton (H)
    Saturday 26 April 26 Stockport (A)
    Saturday 3 May Wrexham (H).

Come on you Imps apart from next Saturday.

Can't find this season's betting thread, but Birmingham, Wycombe, Stockport and Wrexham all to win this coming weekend against pretty weak opposition is about 7/1. Throw us in if you're brave enough and it rises to 16/1. Our opposition is sadly not so weak.

I would add Huddersfield to win and bet on any 4 from 5 and the 5 accumulator. 6 bets in all and as a bit of insurance against an otherwise disappointing day.
Well that worked out all right from a financial point of view. Would rather have lost the bet and made up ground on the others, but I'm resigned to the play offs anyway.

It was the linesman, after bullying by McClean.

Away from the heat and dust of the promotion and play-off battle, I see that Rotherham got thumped 4-0 at home by Crawley this afternoon. The Millers have had a very disappointing season and I wonder if that result might see the end of Steve Evans.

Apologies if mentioned elsewhere but apparently Dion Charles who now plays for Huddersfield but is out injured, was in the Bolton away end yesterday.

Absolutely ridiculous, to not be with your own team, but to be supporting your ex club and direct playoff rivals.

Makes Macauley Bonne liking a couple of Ipswich posts on Instagram seem very minor in comparison. If I was a Huddersfield fan I'd never want him playing for the team again.

Yet back in the summer when they signed quite a few players they were apparently nailed on to get promoted according to posters on here.

Interesting situation regarding Reading. If Reading are expelled then Wycombe would lose one point, Charlton one point and Wrexham three points.

Seeing Peterboroughs main Journo call us , Wrexham, Stockport and Huddersfield " sides that rely on hoofball and the tedium of long throws" and as a four we'd make for a really ugly playoffs so he wants to see Reading stay in there is absolutely hilarious.

Didn't realise that the EFL were now awarding bonus style points like it's ice dancing or something....

Difficult with local journo's as it's likely the only games they watch are the two against there side. Considering our recent loss, it's not surprising Peterborough journo doesn't think much of our style.

Stockport certainly isn't easy on the eye a lot of the time though, and while Wrexham were playing some nice football early on, they have now gone full on for grinding out ugly 1-0s, with help of hassling officials, helped by ringleader McClean.

Would love to avoid Stockport in the playoffs. Would fancy us against anyone else but feel like they'd draw us into a scrap.

While I agree I think we could edge them at home after securing another draw away. Really hard to to quantify the difference a sold out Valley will make. Most of the other clubs in the play offs won’t get the benefit as they will sell out their (smaller) grounds more often in the run in

Just seen this. I thought he was on their bench on Saturday but he was in the away end supporting his old club!

Can see why Dion Charles wanted out at Bolton, with fans like this...

rLeagueOne - Bolton Wanderers Supporters Group Dan Mee 1h I am not really a person who gets invested in players much but I have been imagining how living with Aaron Collins would be a lot lately Like once I have seen him in a dream where there was his girlfriend I am a boy and I was a girl in the dream and I tried to get Aaron from his girlfriend and try to make him fall for me I have been imagining scouting opposition defenders for him while he practices scoring worldies in our garden and giving him tips on how to get the best out of his long range finishing and stuff and he praises me and I would kiss him I never sexualize him though and I am not gay I want to rest on his lap with him caressing my hair I want to rest my head on his shoulder when hes injured and were in the stands together I want to give him sports massages in our bed to alleviate his stress Talking with him would not get boring because I love how he casually explains how Schueys style benefits his ability I would ask him to show me his technique of putting the ball in the top right corner for fun though Ive already studied all of his goals thoroughly and he can also help me with getting free tickets to the game and a stadium tour I think seeing his generally arrogant face would be fun We can maybe take baths together and I would snuggle beside him and compliment his body Maybe we would talk about his targets for next season I think this club is trying to make me like men Help CLE EXPERTS couk victorian plumbing 0 dale COME ON BOLTON COMME ON

Port Vale's kit for next season, is their 150th Anniversary

Wont even be a Sponsor on the front either

We are delighted to be welcoming back University of Staffordshire as back-of-shirt sponsor and IronMarket Wealth as sleeve sponsor. As previously announced, the club has chosen to keep the front of shirt free of sponsorship to amplify the retro look.

Fair play to Darren Moore too, and the board for giving him the chance to undo the relegation. A lot of people completely wrote him off

I mean when someone has 5 years left on a contract you probably have to give them a chance lol. Fair play mostly to Darren Moore then

    Nice kit that.

A reminder too that next season we'll be playing Stoke City rather than Port Vale, and Bristol City rather than Bristol Rovers.

Would love a Stoke relegation purely because I think the world is owed a Potteries derby fixture. It would be chaos

The way Stoke are run even with Mark Robins in charge I expect them to be in the relegation scrap.

Trying to remember the last time Peterborough’s total football got them promoted. Must be a good few years at this point.
