Is it? Didn’t Chelsea play on Christmas Eve last year?
Two wrongs don't make a right, especially with the pathetic TV money you get in L1 when compared to the PL.
  • I’m not sure players are that bothered. It’s not like they get much time off over Christmas anyway. As a fan I’d have been happy to go and watch us tonight. Far too much dead time waiting for the big day.
  • Birmingham visit Crawley tonight. What a ridiculous time to play a game.
And Crawley actually playing some nice football.  Rob Elliot seems to be doing a good job there.
  • The last year of football on Christmas Day was 1957.It was quite common to play on both Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Usually played the same team both days if I'm not mistaken.

Don’t know if that was a regular thing but it did happen a lot I believe. Seen some strange results too, lose 6-0 away then the next day win 6-0 at home.
  • Inigo Calderon: Brighton U18s -> Bristol Rovers

Interesting appointment. Would expect them to try and play a similar style to Brighton which could be risky.
  • For us to be a point outside the playoffs come Sunday evening...

    Bolton (H) and Lincoln draw
    Peterborough (H) beat Barnsley
    Mansfield (A) beat Reading
    Charlton (H) beat Wycombe

I enjoy envisioning it at least

Wonder which result is least likely. Ours?

Peterborough are in dreadful form but McAnthony will never sack Fergie Jr because he can only work with him or Grant McCann.
Tbf it’s about time that they brought McCann back - he’s doing a decent job in League 2 with Doncaster…
  • Fergie Jnr usually resigns or has a mutual departure, rather than get sacked, so that could happen again.

    McCann's managerial history is
    Posh
    Doncaster
    Hull
    Posh
    Doncaster

So he needs to go back to Hull before he can take the Peterborough job again.
  • Exeter 0-1 Crawley

    Huddersfield 0-1 Burton
  • Reading 1-0 Mansfield
  • Crawley 4-1 up 😯
  • Must have been a right argie bargie in Coleshester Doncaster players sent of in 82nd minute.
  • 3 Donny players sent off.
  • Now its showing only one you cannot trust these score websites
  • Crawley 4-1 up 😯
    ooops 4-4...

  • YET another late winner for Wrexham. They must have gained 15 points through goals after 90 minutes.
  • Still four points from the play offs. Reading a must win really, or definitely a do not lose.

Blackpool look to be up for sale as the current owner is fighting charges of insider trading in Hong Kong.
  • FT Burton 0-1 N/ampton
  • FT Cambridge 0-1 B Rovers
  • On a day Charlton can't find the net despite playing decent, Alfie May gets a brace. That's two goals before the comedians reply.

Seems to enjoy playing at Wigan after getting a couple of goals there last season too
  • Orient run continues. 15 points from last 5 games. 23 points from last 10 games (same as Birmingham and Wrexham).
