    For the highest every partnership for England of 414 and still going.

    Despite the pitch and Pakistan's main spinner missing because of illness from this match, to play so long in this heat and keep your concentration is amazing.

    As an aside, who’s in charge of the on screen scoreboard on sky? It’s adding runs and wickets about 2 minutes behind the action.

    it’ll be someone local. It really wound me up early in this innings how rarely it showed the Pakistan total/runs difference, seems to have sorted that now

    Gower said he was working for Trans Sport over there rather than Sky, so I the commentary, pics etc are all just doubled up from them.

    There've been some bad dropped catches, but can’t fault that attempt at a catch on the boundary. Great effort and unlucky to slip over. Smith getting the breaks right now.
