Of all the meals of the year, this has to be the best. Chicken and lamb for us this year (just chicken for me). You can't whack a roast dinner. Post your best and Merry Christmas to all. 🌲🎁🎅
A few prep pics would make a nice change to.

Table set - tick

Good luck everyone, and please don’t take any sarcasm to heart, it’s all a bit of fun and every who puts their plate up for a potential roast is a great sport.Nothing for me will ever beat Seth’s 2019 entry. That was a plate of legend and had me wondering “Is the plate being served on an ironing board? This looks like the type of house if on Through the Keyhole you’d be expecting an old spinster with 72 cats. Most, I’d guess, with starvation issues out of choice.” But @carly burn summed it up much better by simply asking 'what wine did you serve with this, Malibu?'

I’m not cooking tomorrow we are at our daughters, did a little roast today and will cook again Boxing Day.
Only just learning to cook and my Yorkshire are nearly always as flat as a Abbie Morgan corner kick.

Every now and then. Not sure what that has to do with the thread.

I think you should move that table a bit closer to the wall. Don't want anyone having too much room. Are you going to put grandad in the middle on that bench? Might not be best with his bladder.11 -

Looking forward to seeing a little window into the lives of others. It's not just the food, which is sometimes great but often shocking (baked beans and crisps spring to mind), but the table settings, the tableware, the cutlery, the condiments, the quality of the kitchen surfaces and everything else.
Do not spare feelings, do not sympathise or empathise. Be brutal and honest. May Christmas Day begin...0 -
Turkey and stuffing, roast potato wedges and cauliflower with cheese sause and gravy .... bit untraditional but noone here to impress. Plate by Royal Albert. Chrstmas greetings from Sydney.
