The increased number of races and horses being diverted away in preference rather than in addition to Aintree/Punchestown has, from a punting perspective, made it easier to find winners, especially in the non handicaps. That isn't, necessarily, a good thing in my opinion because it has had the effect of diminishing the competitiveness of Cheltenham. And that is what Cheltenham used to be to me. Sometimes less is more and the various calls to add a fifth day to the Festival aren't going to help the overall competitiveness.
I have bolded all the SPs of those that returned at 3/1 or less for each year:

Good luck @northstandsteve today with Stage Star. He’s got my money in the opener.2
-
Bet365 super boost on Shishkin - 10/11 to 7/4.That’s tempting.Today I’ve gone for:
Balco Coastal
An Tailliur
Blue Lord
Klassical Dream E/W lucky15.0 -
Only allowing me £10 on Bet365 super boost.Think it’s a good bet all the same.Put my PP freebie on Dr. Kananga in the last - e/w. Got 22/1 last night, now 16s. Hopefully grind them down from the front in the ground he favours.0

Adamantly Chosen (who it beat by 8 lengths) didn't exactly bolster that form (7th to The Real Whacker yesterday).
