Cracking game
Shit for my FPL team though0 -
When did time wasting stop being a yellow card offence. Biggest bug bear in football for me. Refs letting players get away with it all the time.0

Would be funny if it wasn't every single game.0 -

Great to see Zouma responsible for two goals so far today - in his own net6

As much as it pains me to say it, Levi's outlay of £22m for Son has proven to be one of the best value purchases of all time - in the PL he has now scored 83 goals and provided 44 assists from 223 appearances0

Well I'm surprised that VAR didnt have a look at this yesterday. There's proper intent and malice in that as well, as blatant as it gets.0 - Sponsored links:

Scroll up and it's still there. Just not zoomed in. The fella tweeting says it's on dier but doesnt look like him to me?
Edit. I assume he has a bandage round his head. Thought dier had changed his hair style and colour 🤣0 -
Dier doesn't go down from that forearm smash from Antonio whereas Son had no choice when he was virtually hospitalised from that booted ball by Zouma. Great to see though the Spurs players run into admonish Zouma for yet another at of cruelty:

https://footballnews.net/video/bizarre-incident-between-zouma-and-son-analysed-tottenham-3-1-west-ham-ref-watchTotally agree. Son is a player and a person that you really want to like. He doesn't need to get sucked into doing this (and I'm not saying this as it is Spurs because all teams do this) but then you get this coordinated rush of teammates in support to influence the Ref which makes them look pretty damn silly when you see that nothing actually happened. The other aspect is, of course, that, if he thinks that other Refs haven't seen this then he is as much an idiot as all the others that do it are. In addition to Antonio's forearm smash he went down as if he had been shot during the game when it was obvious to the world and its mother that he wasn't any where near being fouled. All PL Refs will make that note and in the case of Antonio it probably has been done already so he won't get a vital free kick or penalty next time he is actually fouled (VAR has to have clear proof to overturn the decision). The funniest thing though is watching a player go down (and the majority of the time it is attackers), writhe in agony, look up, realise that the Ref hasn't given anything, gingerly hobble a couple of steps as if he can't continue but a nanosecond later is sprinting to a ball that is played over the top. They are the ones that should be retrospectively booked because it would soon stop the play acting.0 -
Sonny and Reggie were both guilty of it, I cant stand it either.
But a blatant, deliberate forearm smash into the face is a red card offence any day of the week!1 -

Same old problems for Brighton.
31 shots today (including a missed pen) - failed to score.
Their last 5 home games they’ve had 77 shots and not scored a goal.5 - Sponsored links:

Another great interview with James Maddison after the game. He always speaks so well, not just standard answers but proper tactical responses, never too much bias, shows real intelligence.0
