As it stands a Burnley win on Wednesday will take them a point behind Everton. Then they play Norwich while Everton play Man Utd.
Everton could be in the bottom 3 this time next week.

Everton just feel like they are headed for relegation. They have for some time. I don't think they bounce back up either.

Burnley definitely have the easier run in on paper, but there is of course one important factor here.......they are absolutely terrible. 22 goals and 21 points in 28 games.

Arsenal doing their usual folding at Shithurst.
  • Huge blow for Arsenal as Tierney is potentially ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury. The backup left back Nuno Tavares is nowhere near good enough.

And as i type, Palace are 2-0 up.

Sickening to watch how good Palace are. Their bench is unbelievable.

2-0 now. Quite pathetic from arsenal. Sad to see how far we have fallen behind the nigels. Different planet to us. Gallagher is a massive player for them, hopefully they dont get him back next season

Gotta be honest, I even enjoy watching Gallagher play for Palace.

Between Bellingham and Gallagher England have some much needed quality emerging in the middle of the park.

I'm beginning to think maybe we won't ever play them again.

Just not in the way we thought when that was echoing round Sellout Park.
  • This is where football is absolutely shit. Challenge on Saka, arguably a penalty but not given, 20seconds later, almost identical challenge on a palace player and it’s given  a free kick. Bet your house 8f that was Zaha going down for a pen those cunts would’ve got it.

Last summer was a bit make or break for them, new manager, ageing players.

Annoyingly their transfer business was very good.

Unfortunately, like it or not, theyre a very well run club and to think not that long ago they shouldve gone to the wall. Viera will go on to bigger and better things, citeh or arsenal i'd imagine when they need a new man in charge.

Shocking evening for Arsenal. It will hurt Arteta that it's an Arsenal legend managing the opposition

Got to hand it to Vieira.  I thought he would be nothing short of a catastrophe for Palace.  He's done a great job.

all set for cnuting spurs or west ham to take champions league spot ...vomit inducing and that's before you even begin to realise palace will win the fa cup and be in the premiership forever and the scum might slip in to the prem via the play offs  while we have to tug ourselves off over a win against doncaster and our best player by a mile being someone who can run around a lot

Arsenal were shit but it pains me to say that Palace look an outfit on the up with Viera. They have good attacking players who press, and their defence is solid. Their early season performances were good but now they are reaping the rewards point wise. Depressing as fuck.

Our current status as the sole winners of an FA Cup in South London might be coming to an end Im afraid.

Still we've got Wimbledon away tomorrow, and another season in the third tier to look forward to.

The world is already a terribly depressing place at the moment.

And now you've sent me to bed even more depressed.

There are a few clubs in a similar boat to us, former PL languishing in L1 and seeing their rivals in a higher division

Pompey - Soton in the PL
Sunderland - Newcastle in the PL AND with filthy rich new owners, Boro in the Championship
    Ipswich - Norwich as a yo-yo PL/Championship club
Wednesday - United and Huddersfield in the Championship, Leeds in the PL

You say that but historically their comparisons will not be anywhere near as superior as ours once were over the scum and palace

    Palace aren't doing that great.

Before tonight's win, they'd won the same amount of games as Everton.

The FA cup is a potential problem!

But, on paper, it is a very unlikely problem.

Chelsea will need to be at their best.

They're 9th in the Premier League.

With an exciting young team, 3 of whom just played for England.

Unfortunately they are doing that great.

Unbeaten in 5 with 4 clean sheets. Not great tho….

Even more depressing is that the only footy Easter course near me is at Palace so I took my boy along today.

He loves Charlton but is bored of everyone taking the piss (he is only 9) so he told them all he was a Palace fan. ☹️.  Sad days.
