Happy with this longterm siging in an area we have struggled.

  • Excellent signing!
  • the times i have seen him he has looked pretty useful. Ipswich fans seem a bit perplexed at the sale.

Really good signing for us. Not sure why it didn't work at Ipswich but there loss is out gain I think!

    Welcome Scott!

Extremely happy with this. Skill and vision in the middle of the park is probably my favourite thing in football. Here's to the unlocking of defences

Great signing. Fair play to the club on this one.

Good to see and a contract til 2025 shows there's a fair amount of hope/faith in him being an important player going forward.

Looming forward to seeing what he can do.

Judging by the pictures this was done last night
  • Pleased it's someone at a decent age again too, and on a 3.5 year contract.

I know we've got a lot of work to do in the summer, but at least it's not a complete rip up and start again like some recent years, we'll have a base of players to start with and hopefully improve (a lot) around.

Great signing - well played TS, another decent length contract and shows he's backing the manager.

if the rumours are to be believed, he's not come cheap
  • One of the best individual performances I've seen from a player at The Valley in recent times with MK Dons last season. Hopefully can replicate that a lot more with us.

    Quotes from their forum:

    Gutted.

Weve got to have someone coming in, otherwise this is odd.

He'll come back to PR on the last day of the season to deny us a play-off place

Strange decision as he hasn't had a chance under McKenna Not happy with this.

Brilliant signing and one that fills a massive piece of the puzzle.

He’s a great player for this level.

    superimposed.

The other pics have him sitting in the stand in daylight
  • Great signing and a good contract length, one less piece of the puzzle for next season.

Great signing and it’s been a fantastic window.
Well done SG, JJ and everyone else involved.
A big thank you to TS for putting his hand in his pocket and backing JJ.
At last we seem to be tying down good players on long contracts and are building sensible.

Has played well against us & should be an improvement on what we have.

Now, if the club could just bin the black box & read CL instead then we could have had a squad to challenge from day 1, and not from Feb 1.

Did he ever play alongside Gilbey?
