Hoping City win tonight, would be funny seeing PSG and Messi sweating on missing out on the knockout stage completely.0

Real Madrid 1 Sheriff Tiraspol 2
One of the biggest shocks in CL history.9 -

The best thing is, Madrid were given an absolutely absurd VAR penalty and still lost at home to Sheriff Tiraspol1

I do think 'Moldovan minnows' is stretching it a bit. They're bankrolled by a huge company in a breakaway state, they built a stadium and complex that cost over 200m, and don't have a single moldovan player in their starting lineup.2

That was very impressive first half from City. Foden and Grealish causing all sorts of problems.1

Tough refereeing in the Liverpool game. The problem I have with it is yeah, by the letter of the law dissent is a yellow card but, you will not see someone receive a red card for an incident like that probably in the next ten years. You probably won’t see many yellows given for worse dissent either.1

Andre Green scored two goals for Slovan Bratislava in the Europa league tonight. Didn’t realise he’d gone there. They beat Lincoln Red Imps 4-1 away.1

Based on last night Pochettino might as well go to United. PSG are miles away from winning the champions league, and he'll probably end up sacked as a result. They play as a unit of 8 men and then the front 3 just doing what they like, sometimes they run, but most of the time they just stroll about. A good side these days can probably afford 1 player doing that, but not 3 of them. Compare that to City who had no De Bruyne, Foden or Grealish but played like an actual team with everyone knowing their role and working hard.
A lot can happen between now and the knockouts, new signings, new managers etc, but I'd be amazed if the CL this season isn't won by either of City, Chelsea, Liverpool or Bayern. Those 4 sides to me are currently way out on their own.6 -

Wouldnt be at all surprised to see the semi-finals line up as you've said above, as long as the draw goes that way. There are no other teams in the draw that can compete with those four.1 -
Ajax, look like a genuine threat if one of those 4 have an off day, although agreed likely the winner comes from that list.1

Is that the Haller who has 9 goals in 5 Champions League games?0

He couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo in a strong West Ham side.0

He's a decent enough striker, just not in the 'elite' bracket that you need to be in to be a top premier league striker. Also the full season he spent at West Ham, they were shit.0 - Sponsored links:

Tom Heaton has made his Man Utd debut tonight
Almost 20-years after joining the club2 -
So Barcelona and Dortmund both out.0

Barcelona out so UEFA will probably rewrite the rules of the competition so it doesn't happen again.0

Chelsea messed up by conceding a last minute equaliser and ending 2nd in the group.
Means they will now have to play one of Bayern, Real Madrid, Ajax or Lille. If they get Bayern they're in trouble and Madrid will always be tough, but the other 2 should be ok.1 -
Also Atletico Madrid scrape through despite getting only 7 points from 6 games!0

Also scored only 2 goals in their 6 games. Across all the groups only Kiev and Malmo scored less.0 -
Benfica v Real Madrid
Villareal v Manchester City
Atletico Madrid v Bayern Munich
Salzburg v Liverpool
Inter Milan v Ajax
Sporting v Juventus
Chelsea v Lille
PSG v Manchester United0 -
And they fucked up the draw.
Villareal originally drawn against Man Utd but they played in the same group so had to pick another team (Man City)
then for some reason they didn’t put Man Utd as an option to face Atletico “because they have already been drawn” but they hadn’t.2 -
