Anyway, Britain's only diurnal tubenose wasn't gonna cause us too many problems. Make it harder please ;)

You're both wrong, this is a Fulmar.
    Fairey nuff.

Deffo a Fulmar. Its bill is a giveaway.

How about this one....Whitethroat Sylvia communis - British Birds - Woodland Trust

Well, it's got a white throat so I'm going to go out on a limb here, Nicholas, and say yellowhammer.

Shit. The Lesser/Non-Lesser Whitethroat Conundrum. Big guns

Unfortunately, the name came up when I moved my mouse over the picture so it wasn't difficult.

Given the rufous colouration I'm gonna say it's a normal Whitethroat, plus it's singing openly, Lesser tend to be a bit more secretive

Foliage makes this a bit tricky and size also therefore deceptive.... Redwing? Seems to have the distinctivewhite stripe above eye, mottled belly and  yellow beak..... May be wrong though.

It is a Curruca, though, yes?

    Tough one. I don’t think it’s a twite, but that’s the best I’ve got.
  • Options
That would be my instant guess as well, but maybe I need to consider a few of the buntings...

Are you guys just making names up here !!

“I’m embarrassed to say i originally thought this was a Crested Starch Hopper but then I notice the middle toe was slightly elongated so it must be a  Lesser Rumped Warbler “
