Lets see whose fault the last minute goal is, or whether he's in "nice mode".0

Birmingham City boss Lee Bowyer told BBC WM 95.6:
"We should have won the game; we deserved to win the game. The effort the players put in, they've been robbed of three points.
"Instead of me talking about how good we were, we're now talking about the penalty decision at the end, which was wrong.
"We deserved to win the game. Unfortunately, through no fault of our own, we haven't."
Can't make up my mind whether it's the English or Maths that's incorrect.

Gimme a hard working selfless player any day over a greedy snake.8 -
Standard Bowyer....linked to the referee thread, I made a point as to why some Refs might have had a grudge against us. Wouldn't you if somebody spoke of you or your team like he does, at work!?0

Strikers do have great spells and lean ones. The unknown is whether the great spells are the norm or the lean ones
Ajose for example seemed to have just one great season, which was the "outlier"

Our first 5 results under Bowyer were:
D 0-0
W 2-0
W 4-0
W 3-1
D 1-1
Our results since Adkins took charge have been:
D 2-2
W 1-0
W 2-1
D 0-0
W 6-0
So they are nigh on identical. These were our next and final eight results that first season under Bowyer:
L 1-0
L 1-0
W 2-0
W 1-0
W 1-0
L 1-0
L1-0
L 1-0
Those results summed up our strength when things were going well under Bowyer and weakness when they weren't - hard to beat when we were in front but couldn't get back in the game when we were losing. It's the reason we failed to win from going behind for so longs. Our unbeaten run earlier this season produced similar results:
D 0-0
W 1-0
W 1-0
W 2-0
W 2-0
W 2-0
W 3-2
And if we look at Bowyer since he joined Birmingham we see much the same:
W 3-1
L 3-0
W 1-0
D 0-0
W 2-0
W 1-0
Even in our promotion season we were hardly prolific and feared for our ability to destroy teams - we only won three times from 49 games by more than two goals and only scored more than two in 90 minutes on half a dozen of those occasions.
One swallow last night doesn't mean that we are going to win every game by a cricket score but I believe that we are less predictable under Adkins than we were under Bowyer and it is that which has meant that we are now capable of beating both the good and ordinary sides in this division. Equally , last night demonstrated that you do not have to rely on one or two goal scorers if midfielders are allowed to make the right runs to support the attack.
Bowyer will continue to etch out results at Birmingham and keep them up. Whether he can take them forward from there will depend on three things - learning from his mistakes so far as the handling of players is concerned, being allowed to spend some money on decent signings to strengthen the squad and a second and alternative way of playing.

Maybe argued his case that he has a point or two to make to Bow ?0 -

Fair point.
I remember when a lot of pundits thought Harry Kane was just a striker on form in his 1st season.
The question was, could he continue scoring goals.
Soon as we signed Andy gray from Burnley...he was awful.
Had a very good record at Burnley1 -
Did he manage to work in the line about how he saved Charlton and could of walked away a million times, in his post match excuses?1

Wow, a manager unhappy that the opposition were awarded an injury time penalty.
Must be a first in world football.
Bowyer has moved on, some people on here really, really need to do the same.20 -
Did a Golfie away at Wayne Rooney’s Derby County today. Safety from relegation now confirmed.
Derby are in big big trouble if Rotherham can find a win or two.2 - Sponsored links:

Annoyingly think the Wendies might stay up. They've got Forest at home, then Derby. Rotherham are picking up nothing and Derby are woeful. Win against Forest and I think they'll do it.1

Ridiculous if Wednesday stay up because the 9 point penalty became a 6 point one, would be 2 years in a row that the soft decision kept them up.5 -
