Hat trick now for Johnson.ForeverAddickted said:Even more ironic is the fact that the scorer has two goals yet should maybe have been sent off @ 0-00 -
That ain't happening, and IF it did, by a fluke, we will be out of sight by then anywaygolfaddick said:
And just think people were wondering about the timing of it all. Especially when their training ground opened last Tuesday...ForeverAddickted said:That "rest" for Lincoln suddenly doing wonders...
One win in eight until they suddenly got COVID, then came from 2-0 down against Blackpool to draw on Saturday
Put your money on them beating us on May 4th.2 -
Real shame Lincoln are winning, all well and good Ipswich etc losing but we need to to catch teams!2

And us of courseForeverAddickted said:Thankfully Lincoln still have to face Burton, as well as Peterborough and Hull

I see the Lincoln penalty got retaken as a Lincoln player entered the box before he kicked the ball1

Yeah the pressure now turns on us to win our games in handcafcsinger said:Real shame Lincoln are winning, all well and good Ipswich etc winning but we need to to catch teams
As beat Crewe (the first) and we go level with Portsmouth if the points remain the same1 -
Pompey dropped points, Blackpool still need to find a way through against Accrington. Would've been lovely to see Lincoln dropping points but can't have it all in one night...cafcsinger said:Real shame Lincoln are winning, all well and good Ipswich etc losing but we need to to catch teams!5 -
Same with Oxford but them winning bothers me the least as we can still go six points clear of themCallumcafc said:

Cliched but i’m liking this take it one game at a time. Ipswich on Saturday is very winnable but it would be typically Charlton to beat Sunderland then follow it up with a poor performance.ForeverAddickted said:

Having said of all that, i’m worried about Hull on the last game of the season. Really tough fixture and personally i think the idea they will be on the beach is a myth.2 -
As long as we keep winning our own games we'll be fine.cafcsinger said:Real shame Lincoln are winning, all well and good Ipswich etc losing but we need to to catch teams!0 -
Lincoln got a lucky break then with "Covid".0

Our GD is really going to hurt us......and that's if we can actually catch the teams ahead of us.
And when people say it's not our strike force that has been our problem but our defence just look at the 4 teams immediatly above us. All lost around the same number of matches as us but all have much better goal difference......and as we havent been spanked by anyone in our defeats it must mean that we dont beat teams heavily enough.
Lack of decent (fit) strikers will cost us this season.
Edit. Of the 4 teams above us only Blackpopl have lost less games than us. Oxford have lost 4 more but have scored 7 more.

True, Crewe have done us a favour especially after losing 6 nil on the weekend.Callumcafc said:

The mental gymnastics are honestly impressive. Why not just look at the goals scored and goals conceded columns?

My only concern about not not making the play offs if Oxford go and win their next 5 in a row. Highest place team left is Gillingham for them. That 6-0 win at the weekend would have given them huge belief to think it is in their own hands.Plenty of football to still be played between now and May.0

wears have to go to Accrington0

But then we have to win our last seven games to stand a chance regardlessgolfaddick said:Our GD is really going to hurt us......and that's if we can actually catch the teams ahead of us.

Thats straight away going to give us a similar GD to those around us and thats on the basis we only win every game 1-01 -

Doncaster's season is over0

Just think what you could gain if when you are in a bad run & have players out due to injuries you can just postpone your next 2 matches, regroup & start again.mendonca said:Lincoln got a lucky break then with "Covid".
Bowyer should have thought about that last January when we had to play Davison & Vennings.2 -
Lincoln 4-00

How many games in a row at home did we concede at least 2 goals? It was a ridiculous number. You can't expect to score 2 goals every game just to gain at least a point. The decision to wait for Famewo and Innis to be fit and not try and get someone in could be the one that really bites us.golfaddick said:Our GD is really going to hurt us......and that's if we can actually catch the teams ahead of us.

It doesn't affect us, but bottom placed Rochdale 2-0 up against 2nd bottom Swindon, giving themselves a chance of safety0

None of those are "spankings". Only one was by more than 2 goals.Callumcafc said:The mental gymnastics are honestly impressive. Why not just look at the goals scored and goals conceded columns?
