Manchester City's training ground is set to reopen after their first-team bubble revealed no new positive Covid-19 test results.
City's players and staff were tested on Tuesday while the club's training buildings underwent a deep clean.

Fleetwood v Ipswich has been put back to the 4th January so players with COVID have a bit longer to recover

It'll be curious to see if either team makes a signing before the 4th, what with the Transfer Window only opening on the Saturday so any new signings wouldnt have been eligible. Of course there is this rule on the EFL website but seeing this is neither the Championship, or that either team are close to having played twenty three games then you have to argue if it'll apply... God I'm so skeptical on this thread!!
In the Championship division, Match round 23 is currently scheduled for 2 January 2021 and there is a strong likelihood that some fixtures will be moved to 3/4 January 2021 to accommodate TV selections
In order to ensure that all Clubs are treated equitably for Match round 23, the League will withhold confirmation of registration where applications are lodged on the morning of Saturday 2 January 2021, until after completion of match round 23, so Clubs selected for TV will not gain an advantage over the majority of Clubs who would play at 3pm on the Saturday0 -

My thinking is if you give one team an extra 2 days, surely other teams should have the option.
Or are they doing this on a team by team basis.
Also what happens if they want to put a game back 2 days and the other team says no because theyve got a game 3 days later.

Hull have not said anything so we have to assume the game will go ahead. As we didn't play midweek either, hopefully it will happen and then having the Accrington game brought forward to Friday should help up for our next midweek Tuesday fixture
However, it's impossible to plan that far ahead as there are bound to be more postponements. Burton have played the joint highest number of games (21) but as they've lost their last 4 probably wished they'd been cancelled!0 -

Just bringing up the point that games are called off due to players having to self-isolate for a number of days, but teams then seeming to have carte blanche around what time period they can impose.

Can we ask the EFL to move our games forward as we are rubbish when we have a week to prepare for a game. So between the 16th December and 11th January Sunderland will have played 1 game(if their game on the 2nd goes ahead)1

Sunderland last played on the 15th December, a match they should have cancelled. Their 4 next games were all cancelled, they play Northampton on the 2nd, but their game vs Fleetwood on the 9th has now gone as well
So between Wimbledon on the 15th December and Wimbledon on the 16th January, they will have played ONE league match
