Anyone watched the Picard series of Star Trek on Prime - any good?
  • As others have mentioned I really enjoyed all 6 series of Bosch. Excellent acting, good script and casting.

Finally finished Schitt's Creek. That has to be as good as a 6 season sitcom gets, it started off great, got better and ended perfectly. So many characters all of which you actually care about and genuinely funny
I was so sad when it was over. I’m watching again from the start next week when I’m off work.
Just restarted it for the 3rd time. It's brilliant!

Just finished The Undoing. Thought the ending was really weak.

Not new of course but watched again the Curb episode with the chef with Tourette’s. I had almost forgotten how good the ending is topped off by Susie’s “ car wash ****! “. Wonderful!

Curb My Enthusiasm is probably my favourite comedy for donkeys years. Halfway through series 10 at mo and will be gutted when I finish it

I read that series 11 will be out asap once the virus permits.

Nice, the last season went a bit slapstick but it's still very good. My guinea pigs are called Larry & Leon, narrowly beat Dennis & Mac (Always Sunny) as the choice.

Sky have the new series (3 episodes) of Class of 92 about Salford's first season in League 2. Amazing how last season Neville and co refused to settle for consolidation and were demanding/expecting promotion. The money spent in this year's Jan and September transfer window before the cap is just boggling. Clearly the cap will affect them, like us.

A good watch. Someone like Gary Neville running the EFL would be brilliant.

Binge watched both series of The Split.  Absolutely brilliant.
  • We're binge watching Spiral, now on series 5 of 8.

Can't believe we missed this when it was first shown !

Absolutely loving it , especially the very dishy lead Frenchman.

Mandalorian series 2 absolutely smashed it?
The story was a pretty simple.one, as were the original films. And that's part of what makes them great.
The latest offerings tried to go down too many rabbit homes and lost some shine for me.

For Black Mirror fans, Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones have done a mockumentary called Death To 2020. Good cast, Hugh Grant and Samuel L Jackson involved, it's now on Netflix.

Love Black Mirror so was excited to watch this last night. The bad news; it's absolutely terrible. I did laugh out loud twice but generally it wasn't particularly good and to be honest I don't understand why they bothered.

The latest series of The Expanse is absolutely brilliant so far - just finished the 4th episode.
  • Just how bad was Black Narcissus! Absolutely terrible.
Looking forward to The Serpent on New year's day.

Same here! We started watching it yesterday. Just finished the first series. Only 7 to go.

They love a zoom camera shot!

Really? Not watched it but heard Arterton is in it and in the buff?

Thought there would have been plenty of creaming on here for that alone regardless of how good it is?

Watched Apollo 11 on Sky Documentary channel last night.

It’s an incredible documentary with some previously unseen footage and a very immersive soundtrack. Rather than using a narrator - the story is mainly told using ‘as live’ audio from the astronauts or Mission Control.

I’d say it’s a must see for anyone with an interest in the subject.

Afraid prepare to be disappointed on that score. Only reason I stayed with it to the third and final episode.

Last two days caught the last couple of episodes of race against the world on BBC

Wish I had seen the whole series when originally aired

Have really enjoyed both series, not sure if there will be one next year.

Excellent film on Sky at the moment. Tailgate.
