Started watching the latest Star Trek series - a bit pro BLM! Graphics are far better than the script and acting imo. Still mesmerised by 'The Queen's Gambit'. Series of the year for me.
DNA on BBC 4 was very good, as @bolloxbolder said it was. It's Danish, but has a great deal to say about Polish attitudes to abortion (which have become more of a story since the series was made).
I seem to be stumped trying to get Series 5 of the Bureau. It seems I cannot just rent it off Amazon, I have to subscribe to Prime. I don't need or want Prime. Is there another way? (I cannot even find an illegal stream yet)
I watched series 5 recently on CinemaHD
Thanks for this tip. Never heard of it, so started to investigate, looks like its basically an Android app - it required me to install the extension in Chrome, but now it also wants me to download an Android emulator. (I use all Apple stuff, btw). But I'll persevere...
Just started watching 'The Trials of Oscar Pistorius' on IPlayer- a fascinating examination of the trial and his life leading up to it.
Watched that too. Completely changed my original opinion on the whole thing.
Having watched all of it I don't think they proved murder beyond reasonable doubt. The defence Pistorius gave was bizarre and I'm not really clear why his lawyer went for this.
The Mighty Ducks is coming back as a series. Best news ever?
QUACK, QUACK, QUACK, QUACK!
Oh awesome!!
Should be on the coincidences thread but was honestly watching D3 last night wondering where they were with the TV Series as seem to remember that Disney+ were planning something for it - Cobra Kai is a great benchmark in a way for the Mighty Ducks to carry on the legacy
I'm not sure if I should admit this, but I'm starting to get into "Industry"....there's definitely some good acting performances to enjoy there.
I thought it was brilliant, like @suzisausage said it has Lena Dunhams fingerprints all over it not least how graphic some of the nudity is and body related stuff.
If that doesn't have a second series it isn't the end of the world I thought it ended quite well
Really enjoyed Industry, though I’m definitely getting more of a prude as I get older as I didn’t really think it needed to be as ‘adult’ as that. Some good characters in that, not sure I really understood Harper though

Yeah good point I thought we would get a bit more of a reveal regarding her and her decisions. I get that she is unconventional I just thought there would be more of a revelation
I didnt like Daria anyway but I very much like the obnoxious ulsterman who sat next to posho

Not sure if you've picked up on it yet @PragueAddick but BBC4 have started trailing the final series of Spiral this week. No date yet, just coming soon.

Series 8 of Spiral is supposed to be on BBC4 on 2nd January. Absolutely essential viewing. The very best of foreign TV drama.

Halfway through series two and love it!
He certainly seems a pretty troubled individual.
Dont watch if you've not finished seeing Season Two as there probably are spoilers
