Neither have played much since leaving.Athletico Charlton said:Did Kashi and Vetokele both recover after leaving us? Never followed their post Charlton careers.
Vetokele did complete 20 games last season.
Kashi has continued his inconsistencies. Real shame3 -
Kashi looked like he could be some player when he first started for us. He was dynamic, and box to box - a bit like Jordan Cousins.
Then the longer the season progressed the deeper he got, and the more sideways he passed the ball. Strange.

Vetokele problems started after both CB took turns in kicking him against Rotherham at the New York stadium.
The dilemma then, is rest or an operation the best cure ?
Different opinions between Big Bob Peeters, the Charlton medical team, and consultants meant Igor wasn't fit he couldn't train and his weight went up.
Lewis Page if he stays fit, could be a championship standard LB, may be best to see if he can put a full season at Exeter before we feel he has turned the corner.
I wish him well.4 -
We had no choice to release him but there was always a player there. Shame we didn’t give him a contract and a loan1

Kelly Youga (yet another left back predominantly) was another 'typical Charlton' injury where he simply disappeared into the Medical Department Black Hole.4
-
Yes, it looked negligible to me. I thought he was exaggerating.addick1956 said:
I remember his injury one evening about this time of year (?) against Bristol Rovers where he challenged for a high ball towards the covered end in front if the West Stand . The ball was out of play or nearly so and he wasn't going to stop it going out. Did his leg on landing if I recall correctly.LenGlover said:Kelly Youga (yet another left back predominantly) was another 'typical Charlton' injury where he simply disappeared into the Medical Department Black Hole.1 -
I'd be interested to hear what his new routine he's started is compared to his old one. Happy for him though, still got a very happy memory of him scoring Vs Plymouth in LB first game. Had no idea what to expect going into that game and was a very pleasant surprise!MattF said:4 -

Oh FFS!!0

Poor Lewis. Hope its not another long term one. Really wished he was going to do well with us, was gutted when he got injured and was nice to see him start so well for Exeter. Gutting3
-
Hopefully just a slight set back for him, really thought he had turned a corner with his fitness2
-
I expect this is our medical team's fault too...8

Hope it’s nothing serious Lewis deserves a break1

Poor fucker. Really like him as a player, but he just can’t get a run of playing time. Hope it’s not a serious one.1

Shame for him. He is a very good player whom could easily have played top half Championship football and quite possibly higher but can't help but feel he will end up like our other ex LB, Tariq, with an early retirement.0
-
Always sad when a pro has injury problems, and this lad seems cursed. Hope he is back soon as he is a more than decent player, and seems a nice lad.3

Heartbreaking, reading his story but he is very determined to succeed. I think his luck will change eventually and he will then do well. I certainly hope so.0
